Unfortunately No Sprouts Today. :-(

Temps seems to be staying between 72-76,, Sponges are still damp, so all I can do it wait.

I did order another tent yesterday. 2'x2' just for Clones, Sprouts and Possibly a Mother.

Last 2 sets of seeds I cracked took 5 full days to sprout.

So Rusty, what's your light for flower, and what size buckets are you going to use for your hempy's?

Thanks for the experience comment! I always like to hear peoples personal experience and not what happened to their friend or what they heard or read somewhere :wall:

I found some nice Food Grade 3gallon Buckets that are not 12" diameter, but rather 9.75". I flower with a 400w HPS, but have been considering going up to 600w over the last couple of grows, just not sure if I want to pull the trigger just yet. Probably going to run the Hempy's once before making that decision ;-)

3 gal bucket is a good choice. I've tried several different sizes and IMO the 3 gal is as large as you want to go, I tried 5 gal once, but it just took too long for the roots to hit the rez. But I am experimenting now with the smallest size I've ever tried. Using 2 liter soda bottles, it's a test run for a hempy SoG.

Yea, I figured the 3 gallon would be best,, Not too big, not too small. I plan to go into Solo cups when my sprouts root, then into the 3 gallons from there.

I have been seeing a few people use the 2 liters with quite a bit of success.

Oh and Just a Heads UP,, But I have one bean breaking through as of 5:00pm this evening,, Hopefully the rest will follow by morning .. Very Exciting!!

Today I have 3 Sprouts (Pic Attached). The one that popped yesterday is of course the big one in front. The one you see coming through in the back is the Fruity Chronic Juice, and we have another just barely breaking the surface (front right corner). So we are half way there,, and just need 3 more beans to pop and give us 100%!!

The big one still has some shell on her leaf, but I am pretty sure that I'm not supposed to fuck with it at this point.

Picking up solo cups today so I can have my little Hempy's ready to go :bigjoint:

Well, I am a little disappointed this morning as none of the other beans have sprouted yet. :cuss: I am only at 50% so far and the Fruity Chronic Juice looks like it only developed one Cotyledon leaf.

They are looking a bit stretched as well, at what point should I transfer these into my Solo Cups? Another day and the one will end up hitting the lights in the hood :?:

OK,, Then it looks like I will need to put together a little make-shift veg area until my smaller tent arrives next week, and cut up the plug cups so I can leave the 3 in the propagator to continue and germinate.

I was planning on keeping them under some CFLs until my current grow finishes flowering for another 3-4 weeks. I have (4) 23 watt CFL's,, will one be just fine for now, or should I use all 4 over the new girls?

Thoughts????
