My First Grow - White Label White Widow

Thanks yellowsnake. I'm 95% confident that the other thai haze is a female too. Tomorrow I'm hoping to be able to tell for sure. Next friday will be the final transplant for the WW. Saturday they will see their last light at 5:30pm (18/6 schedule) - and then they will be in darkness for 16 hours before going on a 5:30 am to 5:30 pm 12/12. So they will be a little short on the 12/12 the first day.

I can't wait for december or january so I can smoke some!

Alrightie.... Got the 400w HPS setup from HTG supply yesterday. Also picked up rockwool cubes for cloning later this week.

With that HPS setup I got the Sunmaster Neutral Deluxe MH Conversion bulb which is in there now. I can already see the plans responding between last night and today. Last night I had the lights on a little later (normally off at 5:30) so that I could make sure the distance was ok.. temp wasnt going to be an issue... etc. Everything is going great. I have the ballast outside the grow room and i'm actually going to have to pick up a heater to keep the room warm this winter. I'm actually kind of mad I didn't pick up the 600w setup now. I think I'll upgrade that in January when I start my next grow. Doesn't hurt to have a back up light and ballast... right? Unless this works out just fine yield wise... then I may just leave it alone because the way I have stuff run its nice and clean but would be a pain to rip out and redo.

Friday the WW get their final transplant to the big pots. Sunday I start to flower. Hopefully my upgraded HPS bulb will be here by then. HTG said it was on backorder but they sent me a generic one anyway. I'm sure it'll do thet trick till the other one shows up. I was thinking of living the MH in for the first week of flower anyway.

Oh yeah.. I also topped the thai haze the other day. Lesson learned. dont do it high. Did one perfect (the confirmed female) thank god... but I slipped on the other and sliced off 1 of the 2 shoots. So this morning I just fimmed that one shoot. lol We'll see how that turns out... DOH! I'm going to leave the other one alone now and compare the fimmed shoots to the non fimmed. Though since there is two on one and one on ther other, not sure it will be a fair comparison. We shall see though.

My 400hps comes on Friday, maybe I will get a spare bulb also? Did you go with the Agro-Sun adjusted spectrum?

Yes... i am very happy so far. Though i think my best ww might be male... will post pics tonite.

I sure did order the agrosun bulb. If u notice on the site u cant buy just the bulb because they are out but when u buy the light package it isnt linked to inventory so its still an option.

Well... I've finally named one of my plants. The smallest one. "Lucky" As in lucky to be alive. I knocked the damn thing on the floor for like the 5th time. I dont know what it is with me and that plant. lol

After I transplant tonight I'll post some pics of that WW that I think is male. Hopefully you guys can help me out a little.

Here are the pics of the WW that I think might be male or hermie. Not sure though. I haven't seen either one first hand yet so the only thing I can identify is females. Which is what makes me thing this isn't one! Hopefully I'm just freakin out about nothing. Tomorrow these plants go 12/12!!!

Apparently I should still wait from the information that was so nicely delivered to me. Sorry Im a smidge excited about my frirst grow... didn't realize guys (Growspecialist) had to be a dick about it. But, with every 99 nice people you find on this place... your bound to find that 1.

If you still haven't gone into 12/12, you prob won't be able to see any preflowering yet. You could if they had vegged a really long time, but doesnt look like the case. Give em some darkness and a week or so and they'll show.

I went 12/12/ today and also took cuttings from my confirmed female thai haze x skunk and also my best ww for giggles just in case it turns out to be female. I also have 2 G13 haze germing as well as another WW for the next grow.

Pretty excited now that I'm actually into flower. I can't wait for the next week or two to go by so I can see what I have!!

I starting flowering last tuesday, and I tell ya every morning and night I check every part of the plant to look for male or female parts. I had 1 show female 28 days in veg, and the other showed female 2 days into flower. I am still waiting on the other two to show, but I am just so impatient and anxious.

I suppose I should start a new grow journal... I just took cuttings on Sunday... I'll take some pics yet tonight and post them. Also moved the one WW seed that sprouted nicely already in a rock wool cub. Can see it moving its way up already too! Checked the two G13 haze today and they are cracked, but not quite ready for rockwool.

So I lied about pics yesterday... but here they are today!!

2nd pic is my new clones cut on 10/26, ww sprout, and soon to be G13 sprouts.

Well... today is a sad day. I came home as always to check my plants and I took my unconfirmed thai haze x skunk out to see if it is flowering yet. It is... but its got balls.
