well like the title says my dog seems a little different the last couple days. Hes kinda moping around the house and it seems like hes sorta stopped eating as much as he usually does. Hes kind of a fat bastard. Hes kinda just been laying on his bed a lot more lately. I wormed him about two months ago so i know its not worms and hes not showing any visible signs of sickness, no cough or anything. Its been raining here and he hates the rain so hes not going outside to play anymore. I gave him a bath and a biscuit this morning but hes still just layin on his bed. Any ideas? Hes four but hes acting like an old sad dog. I even gave him some beef bones last night and he ate the meat off of em, but this morning i gave him another one and he wouldnt even touch it. Im getting worried but theres no real signs of sickness. Any ideas appreciated.

When you know something is wrong yu know

Go to the vet

When Thor got sick I pondered and questioned myself
Eventually I said to myself you know what this isn't how thor acts

So I went to the vet
He was very sick and I got his life saved

A blood test can reveal a lot of info fast. Find a vet with an in house lab and ask for a test, they'll be happy to take your money.

Go go go! Get going!

He may have a bone stuck at the top of his mouth if he ate some, if you havent noticed him trying to get it out then he may have given up and stopped trying hense why he's stopped eating and looks down and quite ..... its worth checking.

Other than that he's prob a sick stomach from the meat, but a vet is a defo if he's not better tomorrow.

Check the top of his mouth and see.

Hes not deathy ill. Hes just kinda sluggish for now. I was hoping someone had a dog tonic or a supplement/vitamin that maybe would give him a jump start. Maybe a red bull mixed with his water? 8) If he gets worse ill take him into the vet. For now hes got his big ole head on my chest in my bed snoozin, which hes never alowed in

For the sake of an hour out of your life and a fist full of dollars, get him to a vet.
We lost our old boy to chronic kidney failure, he seemed fine one day and the next morning his back end was gone and he was basically fucked. They had him on a drip to see if there was any improvement but it was too late already . If we'd noticed he was drinking more water than normal we might have had a clue....but....We didn't.

He was old and happy. It destroyed us. Such is life.

A blood test at the vet is in order.

Although you say it has been raining and the dog is fat, sounds like exercise is in order to.

Train the dog. Gives the dog purpose.
