Those look good. Are you going to do any weight comparisons with the HPS?
Aaaahhh, that wouldn't really be fair n would probably require a bunch of math. See, the HPS plants are ranged from 12 zips - 2 #'s. Got my first 2#'r off the Kings Kush directly under a thouie! It was like 4.5' around. Freakin beast. Those plants were much bigger. You can see them vegging on my last thread right before they went in.
The led plants look to be 6-8 zippers, went in smaller in 5's instead of 7's & only had 150-230 averaged watts each opposed to 600-1000. So, not easy to compare but I will give you guys a GPW when they're dry.
The HPS buds were much bigger but the led weed has to be 2-3X better quality this run. So good in fact that I'll be buying some more Amares & another SunCloak to build a real led room.
I know the Amares will easily match the HPS in weight once I do an even comparison w/ wattage & give me a much higher quality. I mean much higher. Like it's crazy. I can't even put into words.
I firmly believe the super high quality comes directly from the enhanced spectrum put out by Amare. And the full spectrum provided by white LEDs.
Is that light burn?
Naw, nutes & the fact that they're done. Maybe a lil under the Pro-4 in the back w/ lenses cuz I have it much lower then recommended. I just turned the cobs off till I get to chopping that Kings.
These have so much more smell & bag appeal then my HPS weed.

Looks great bro! You got a mini-split too hu! Awesome! Your gonna like having Co2. I run mine 1200-1500 now that I can but when I struggled to keep those #'s last year I did real well @ 700-900 too. Any Co2 is better than none.
Looking good pizon!

So you're saying is that to get the HPS weight you need the same watts in COB? Which to me defeats the purpose with cost no?

I just started vegging my 2 clones for my MH/HPS vs COB shootout. each 3x3 600w MH vs 320w LED...........I want to see how it does here in my garden with my strain. I have a 1K on standby.........

i dont think you need the same wattage to match hps.but you do need maybe 3/4 wattage.i am on my first led with the cob tech crop.the older burple lights did not compare at all to hps for flower.i spent alot on the old burple and they sucked for flower but are awesome in veg.the new cobs are even better in veg then my old burple lights.all my burple lights are sitting on the shelf gathering dust now.have 4 digital hps ballasts sitting on the shelf also.time will tell if the leds at 800 watts can do the same as 1200 hps .either way 800 watts led is much easier to maintain eviro then with 1200 hps

No, I meant to say I won't know exactly how they compare directly until I do a solid side by side. Last run my SE-450 yielded about as much as 800 watts of HPS . But that had 3 big plants squeezed into a 4'x4'.
If I had to guess its about 3/4's like Zep said. But way higher quality so far. Only a direct side by side will tell.
Don't forget the cooling & in-line fans not needed to power. All that adds up to be quite a bit. Even if they both yielded the same. Savings on extra power need to run HPS & the quality is enough for most.

That's what I'm battling right now. Day 1 my 600w ballast craps out on me. So I had to throw in my 1K ballast bulb but now the heat because small space 39x39x79. Meanwhile the 320w COB light I built is chilling in the other 3x3 doing it's thing on my suto to finish it off. I am not happy with this autop right now size wise on the nugs a lot smaller than I am use to not sure why but unless she swells a lot this week flushing not sure man......

Yup! DJ Short.

Not sure what you mean? All I know is GoGi. It's Snow Lotus X Nepali OG. 80%Sativa, 20%Indica. Straight Off the meat rack bomb diggi!
This here is the Sweet Black Angel & GoGi fresh chop. View attachment 3792859

Yup! OBB from DJ Short. I like his strains allot. Always mixed w/ Purple Thia. The Flo plants in the LED garden currently is from DJ Short too.
What Breeder is that Sweet Black Angel supposed to be from?

Not quite sure. Got all these strains from a friend. He told me they are all from seed by his hand at one point but he got them from different seed banks over the years.
The only one I know of was he got the Sweet Amnesia from G-13 which allowed me a 9 week flower time instead of 12. Not sure how they managed that.
Some of these are pretty nice though.
Pretty sure I'll be getting rid of the NY Power diesel. It's a 5' around huge plant sitting in flower still. One of those Sativas that never tightened up.

That looks much different than my Samsara Sweet Black Angel. This girl is a real stinker too!
