i am a person who can decide what is a better deal on the basis of cost and benefits.
that's only about 4-5% true. for the overwhelming and vast majority of people, his pledge was true.

You and I can look at a girl in a relationship where the dude hits her, cheats on her and treats her like crap.
Government could pass a law saying that they are forced to break up, and we could all agree that she is better off.
But the fact is, some women like a relationship where the dude hits her and treats her like crap, who are you to come in and remove this persons freedom of choice?
By every metric, the new plans might be better for the person, I'll agree that's a likelihood. But removing their ability to chose is almost evil, it sure is tyrannical.
Lol, "that's only 4-5% true?" You mean he lied to one in twenty Americans. That is a very dishonest way to say that. Well no, he lied to ALL Americans, and only one in twenty were affected, so far. In the next couple years were going to see companies dropping their provided health care in favor of letting employees get their own through the exchanges.
He lied to all Americans, and knew it was a lie when he said it, not a 4% lie, a 100% lie.
The link you provided showed a lot of stories where people who were going through cancer, had their insurance that was covering it, removed, then the folks had to go through the hassle and worry at that time to get another plan to cover it. And are anywhere from slightly benefited, to barely negatively affected.
Yes. We made cancer patients freak out, what a great outcome!
