Then don't blame MG cuz it doesn't last forever,k?; nothing lasts forever. It shouldn't even be an issue. I'm surprised you brought it up.

How is sharing a theory related to extending Mgmc's nutrient effects blaming? I'm fully expecting to unlock it's potential, and it's secrets, like realistically, what one sign depicts the need for additional nutrients with this stuff. I get that perfected, I'll be ecstatic.
If it can be done, I'll be one of the ones just watering and changing light schedules early in the game. It's the old age that makes haulin' gallons of water upstairs, or rather larger, bushy plants down, less fun than it's always been.

No. Its good for veg, like a veg nute. Hmmm. MG has nutes in it. I wonder which type. Could they be vegging nutes?
The nutes in the MG can basically be gone by flowering time, depending on ones sched.
No one has said its perfect for the whole run. Some are working on minimal adjustments.

Less than excellent why? You make it sound like MG has some short-comings that other soils don't. Call it what you want, I'm not trying to step on your toes; just looking for a decent answer.
Ask Scotts if you want a definitive answer.

What does that even mean?... and who do you speak for? I'm pretty sure you can put a 7-week clone into a fresh pot of MG, go straight to 12/12, and get perfect nugs.
Which is it? Perfect or overrated?

It's just a moisture retentive soil mixture w/Osmocote in it, according to Scotts.
From a week ago, in reply to an e-mail I sent them.
"Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix feeds for 3 months with Osmocote. Osmocote works on the principle of osmosis, which is how the product gets its name. Osmocote prills absorb moisture from the soil, causing them to swell into plump capsules of liquefied plant food. The nutrients are then slowly released through the prill's special coating to the plant's root zone through osmosis. This constant supply promotes beautiful plants. And since the nutrients are encapsulated, they will not wash away - no matter how much it rains or how often you water.
After three months, you can begin feeding plants on a regular basis with Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant Food. We suggest you repot plant every 9 to 12 months.
Miracle-Gro is a water soluble food which is specifically formulated for use with all varieties of plants grown under normal cultural methods. Miracle-Gro contains the primary plant nutrients of nitrogen, phosphoric acid and potash, and six minor elements. I think most everyone fucks up their first plant, or as many as it takes until they get serious about it. I know when I first started I didn't expect much.
