Thanks dude! Been a long time, how's things? Ever get that PH problem figured out?
In Other News - 2 of 6 beans officially popped, one of which is the SKK(Some Kinda Kush)!! So I threw them, along with one more seed into little rockwool cubes today. No exciting pics, and I dunno if they'll even root in the rockwool, but they were all free seeds of some stoney bud, and the SKK is supposed to be really dank.

No posts for a minute...Fried the electricity in my room, not just a circuit breaker, but fried the wires in the walls, hopefully the guy is gonna come by and fix it tomorrow. Guess the babies get 48 hours of darkness and then I'm gonna put them into 12/12 soon as I get power back, if nothing horrible happens...lol...In a panic, abandoned the DWC, pulled the rockwool out of the net pots and put them into soil on the windowsill, I have 3 brand new seedlings, and hopefully at least one more on the way. Need power to feed my babies with lots of lumens, wish me luck guys.
P.S.-My pops is a contractor, and the I smoke dank with the electrician he's calling, so it's all good. Just want power back...it only fried my room, all other rooms in the house work. I don't know why or how it happened, maybe running 500+ actual watts for 12-16 hours a day didn't help, but I hope he fixes this shit tomorrow.

A few new things this post. So this is when I noticed the fungus gnats, and i did a soil drench with neem, and got the whitefly sticky traps working. I also bought a Thermometer/Hygrometer, and i noticed my humidity was low, so I set up a little ultrasonic humidifier with stuff I had lying around.

The seedlings got their permanant home as well, home made pots from the dollar store, just onder 1 gallon capacity. Just have them under 1 light each, so far, gonna add more when they're stronger.

That is an ultrasonic humidifier, it makes fog, i need to soak it in some Lime-Away, cause it's caked with hard water deposits and not really pumping out much anymore.

Ok, so quick update...Turns out I didn't fry the wires in the wall, it's a circuit breaker issue. The guy was here today and fixed it for about 6 hours, and he's coming back to fix it again tomorrow. I gotta tell you, that shit freaked me out...When I noticed the power was out in my room only, I got all paranoid and broke down BOTH my grow areas, unscrewed all the light bulbs, unplugged and stashed all cords, not to mention UNdid a LOT of duct tape work...Good news is, electrician doesn't need to fuck around in my room anymore cause the wiring is good, so I felt free to re-assemble my grow areas tonight, and put the little ones into flower for 12/12. I have an extension cord running everything from a socket in my bathroom...lol...Chopped Shirley on the 28th, Laverne is close behind, maybe another week or so. Going to get the DWC setup running later tonight, and I'll keep 2 in soil for the soil lovers out there, you know who you are

Ok, So after disassembling and reassembling both my grow areas, here's where I'm at. First with the new, all new seeds here are some bagseeds from some dank humboldt outdoor. First two in soil...I started them in rockwool with 4 others because they were originally destined for the DWC, they were in 3.75" netpots with hydroton...before all the electricity bullshit went down, then I pulled them all out of the hydroton, put them all in soil, and then pulled 3 back out of soil and put them back into hydroton...lol...So here are the two that are staying in soil. One 26w 6500k each for now, much more to come later.
And here are the rockwool cubes I put back into the DWC. One sprout showing, and I can see the seeds cracked apart and are about to show on 2 more, and 2 are fresh seeds. So 5 in the DWC all together. They're just under those 2 x 32w 6500k T8's at the moment, bigger and better things soon to come. 18 Gallon resevoir, 3.75" netpots, hydroton
And here it is in action, my manifold attached to a 100GPH pump for top feed till the roots hit water, the airstones bubbling away, my air lines and power line for the water pump, and the 2800cc/min air pump pumping like a champ...a Breakfast of Champions to be more precise
And here are Lefty and Righty after 48 hours of darkness, first day of 12/12. I'm going to give them one last weak dose of veg nutes tonight. After the electrician fixes my shit tomorrow, I'm gonna change this setup, but currently under 4 x 23w 2700k, 2 x 42w 2700k in 8.5 inch reflectors.
What do you guys think I should add next? Besides the obvious, more lights. Not a huge fan of the DIY yeast CO2 generators, either. I was thinking a replica 18th century Parisian Carousel.

Shut the fuck up!!! I put Lefty and Righty into 12/12 yesterday at 6 PM after 48 hours in darkness(by no choice of mine) It's a little after 10PM and I just popped my head in to make sure the lights were positioned well, and I noticed 2 little white pistils shooting out near the top growth of the main cola (never topped, just LST) Really? Thats incredible....lol...I hope she stays female...So I tried to take a pic and crop it so you can see what I'm talking about, but my camera is crappy...You can BARELY just see the two white hairs in the middle of the pic, like a white "V"

The the fully exposed seedling spread 'em, thats the first two pics. The one to the right of that one broke the surface, and the third one is gonna break surface tomorrow I reckon. Not sure about the other 2 seeds in here, cause they were real light, but I scored some dark striped fat little seeds today, 3 of 'em, more of this same weed, so we'll see.
And the ones in soil, they're both the same looking so I just took the closeup of one
And get this, EXCITING NEWS! I was checking out the plants I threw into 12/12 the other day, and I'm pretty sure I saw pistils on the other one too!!! It's not my first rodeo, and I DO know what I'm looking for...lol...So it's looking like I might have scored 2 for 2 on sexy ladies this round! I will put pics up of them soon...Whatcha think guys, Lefty and Righty appropriate names now that I will probably end up keeping them both? Or should I get my girlfriend to think up a couple good ones?
