I think they've progressed nicely, in my opinion, from when you got them. Although, I am extremely fascinated with LST, so I woulda bent em over as soon as I got them home, lol. But yes sir, those little babies are looking good. Keep it up man, And if you just get to pack a couple bowls, it was fun to do, right? And honestly, I'd rather have fun doing something than become habitual and not appreciate what it is your doing.
Thanks brother! I appreciate all the support. It's a love-grow. If I want yield and potency, I grow outdoors. Haha, and there's already a couple of bowls on the plants 17 days into 12/12, so it'll be fun to see if i get anything of them. As for the seedlings, i'm waiting for the little one to get a bit stronger, and I will probably LST the shit out of it. The larger sprout, i think I might just train the lower branches out to be level with the kola, not a fan of FIMing or topping cause I like my kolas natural...lol...But we'll see, i might have a change of heart. Thanks for dropping by!

Dispensary in SFV, good pot, shitty plants. Not an Aires, just needed a lighter.

Metasnyth those clones just need some love, once you start to flower them and they start budding up then you can be the last one to laugh.

DISASTER UPDATE-----Jan 1st

So, i'm not gonna bore you all with the lead up to how this happened, lets just say it was someone's shitty idea to soil drench with Spinosad for Fungus Gnats...*cough* Meta *cough* ...So on the positive, i think we took care of the fungus gnats. On the negative....um...well, I think we might have killed Shirley, and Laverne got burned bad. Also, the day after D-day (drench day...haha) I thought the seedlings were going to crumble away into powder. Straight crispy leaves.

I think the spinosad caused a massive release of the nutrients in their soil, a reaction with the time release additives made them release like a month of nutes in 3 days. Anywho, i actually prefer this scenario, seeing as my grow area is in my room and I wasn't fond of the idea of having fungus gnats escaping the grow area and getting in my shit. Gives me the creeps.

Ok, so here's the deal, the clones that I'm flowering, they're throw away plants. I paid 15 bucks for them, and will not cry if they die. Laverne was always the stronger of the two, and i think she'll pull through, but Shirley already was the one with the worse gnat problem, and she has weaker roots, so I'm pretty sure she's done for in the next 2 weeks. Only time will tell, they might both die yet. Despite the fact that they're my ugly stepchildren, i'll give them a little love and they're currently in the ICU, no full body shots, they need their rest, but here are some closeups to give them hope.

Anyway, on to the meat of the matter. I seriously thought I killed my babies, the little seedings were doing so well. I don't give two shits about the clones, but the seeds I germed are what I'm interested in.

They were just beginning to show some nice branching before D-day, and as a result of their poisoning, i pulled most of the lower fan leaves on Righty. They were literally crispy. Weird, because Lefty was the runty weakling for the first 2-3 weeks, but seemed relatively unaffected by the treatment. Some hardy genetics going on there!

Anyway, they're in better soil, and rebounded very quickly after I dumped about a gallon of water through the soil of each pot. The new growth looks good, still a little burned on the lower portions, but the damage is done, they're just getting better now! Ok, Disaster Averted For Now...To Be Continued.....

Haha, eat them boiled alive! Yeah, fuck 'em, shitty club clones, hurry up and finish so I can start more seeds!! Naw, it's cool, Laverne smells kushy, and evn though she's a "Kushage" strain, i didn't expect her to actually smell like dank kush, so lets hope those little buds pack on some more trich's, and I'll smoke 'em soon as I seem some turn amber. The whole purpose of the clones was to keep me entertained while the seedlings started, and now I'm just interested in starting some legit strains, so they're sorta a nuisance. No, i kid, I love to grow and I hope they pull through, at least Laverne.

BTW KushX, plants looking good dude!

It's cool, all this shit was like 15 bucks, and my seedlings are looking awesome! Even THEY are bagseeds, so I'm eager to put them into the flowering room and have been thinking about what strains to order. Also, I think I want to upgrade my veg area, it's cool to start a couple plants, but I need to get a few more going. I've decided that once I'm through with a cycle, i'm gong to turn it into a clone box. I've been shopping on Craigslist for free wardrobes, tv cabinets, etc...And there's plenty of shit floating around. So ideally I'll have a veg area for like 3 or 4 plants, and just grab some good strains and clone off my vegging plants, throw them in the nursery...i.e. the veg box I have now.

We'll see, to be honest I might be busy with an outdoor operation when spring rolls around, so if I can just find a no-brainer setup that is low maintanance, thats what I'm gonna stick to. This whole indoor thing is a pet project that seems to have spiraled out of hand, lol, not that I'm complaining. It's just so cheap and easy, other than the fact that I almost killed the clones. I'm sure once I get the hang of things, and set up a more permanant indoor grow area, it'll start running a little smoother. Not to mention that i'll have a lot more room when i get all these 30-45 gallon pots out of the room my grow area is set in.

Damn growing is addictive!!!

It's not the destination, it's the journey...lol...Naw, it's cool not paying for bud, but the biggest allure of CFL growing to me is the cheap simplicity of it all. Not to say growing is easy, which it IS and ISN'T at the same time, but it's cool to be able to go to the hardware store, shell out 50 bucks, and have a ready to go marijuana growing setup.

It's also nice to have a community like this to share with. I mean, I never had any friends who grow. It's not like I have anyone who can empathize with my situation. I never had anyone to take me under their wing, show me the ropes...fuck...this is SoCal, isn't it? So it's awesome for me to have something like the resources of RIU to draw from, and people to share with who are as excited about weed as I am.

I can't stress enough how much more fun it makes it when I can document my grow, and grow side by side with people around the world. It's not a competition, it's a community that is here to support each other. And despite the fact that some people are just assholes who have nothing positive to say, it's really nice to have a bunch of guys and gals out there who care!

Also, i'll try to get some pics of the babies up today, they're looking good, going to start tying down branches soon.
