Meizihi vs. Viparspectra

Question hope y’all can help me. My White Russian strain, every bud I can look under the scope. The trichomes are all cloudy some a Liltte amber with very very few clear ones. I would say like 98% cloudy or so but I still have about 10 days till the start of week 8. Should I cut her now or still wait? A lot of the hairs are gone. She suffered from some of deficiency or I locked the soil, but ya Anyways would the trichomes change that much in 10day?

Day 54 into flowering looks like I will be going a full 8 weeks or maybe 9 weeks Trichomes are still cloudy not much amber to say a% but they are getting thicker. Cherry pie is now starting to turn purple oh I just can’t wait anymore......

I have followed this thread and here is a conclusion I have came to I grew one side metzi the other vipar with 2 vast 2 fast,
Alltho I spoilt it a bit by adding Samsung strips,still leaving lights in as side lights.
Both are capable of growing.
The vipar side flowerd early one to 2 weeks befor metzi.now both now well in flower but the metzi side buds and flowers are up to twice as long as vipar side so......
My vote is metzi dew to size of buds/flowers don't forget vipar is almost finished and the metzi has 2 weeks at least.

That’s good you found a good one on the other hand I returned my meizhi, like I said a driver went bad after 3 days of use. Not gonna deal with a brand where the it no functions within days of using so I took a back, then got my quantum boards. But the vipars are still going strong only using 1 of them for extra light in my flower room, the other for my vegging, which I just got some new clones today and also started some seedlings. Star fire OG, cookies and cream, cheese bomb, gg#4, sour diesel

Update on garden. I think it’s like day 73 of flowering. Durban poison and my green crack are the only ones left. 5 more to cut down. I been harvesting for a little over a week. Only able to trim 2 to 3 a day..... I’ll update tomorrow with some pics. But here’s a shot of my cookies og. Not the best looking shots as I look at it now.

Quantum boards are the shnizz, but I am growing with two Vipar PAR600 fixtures, right now. It honestly seems to work about as well as a 600 watt HPS, with a touch less heat. I have only done one run and my yield wasn’t great, but I had two broken arms at the time I started it, and it was not my best effort. Right now I have a fuckin’ jungle rolling in my 120cm square tent.
Nice grow Louisjr, that pre-harvest canopy looked pretty good, man.
I do feel like the Viparspectra lights are too blue, but they aren’t garbage if you can get them cheap. I need to get those v2 quantum boards rolling, though.

Thanks bro. Really to many strains to learn for a kinda a first timer. I’m really happy with this grow. I really like the vipars just for vegging though. The specs. I got for the 1200w it gives off 51%blue. If I understood more about those lights and the quantum boards, I would be all quantum boards right now instead of having two of those. What kind of yield did you get? How many plants did you have?
