Looking really nice, those buds look tasty!

I just realised that your 12/12 switch is 2 days ahead of my own, so this will be a great grow to keep an eye on to measure my own CFL progress (currently 420w total, but I'm planning to stage in a bit more wattage later on)....tempted to get my camera out, but it means messing with my girls when they are all busy growing and all.

@tamjam, heading to your thread for some reading next, will be interested to read the opinion of someone who like me has ditched HID and stuck with CFL.

Sweet man, ya i know what you mean but opening doors as a routine, I do the same. I also have my days set at 8 to 8 and i also let them sit out in the south facing room that gets sun for like 6 to 8 straight hours a day ( when im home and not working ) They love the sun dont they :) You can always tell when they haven't had sun in a couple days, They just dont look as "Happy" lol. Im a relaxed grower right now too, im legal now so i want to get all the little mistakes out of the way before i make a "medicine " room and cant afford mistakes. Well good luck man and keep them growing Ill defiantly be around!

Sounds like we use pretty similar ideas :-) No doubting the effects of placing plants under that great growlamp in the sky, even when I used to grow under a 600watt HPS with more and bigger plants I would still close it down and move them out on summer days! A guy here did a few tests using a light metre test a while back, he recorded the levels right under a 400watt HPS and then in a greenhouse (behind glass) and the levels inside the greenhouse were way higher :blsmoke: Just makes sense to use it if you can!

Right, need to record a date, thus the update again. Its 3 weeks since the mazar 'trinny' went into 12/12 so I need to get something else going now. have decided to put both the 'mutant' SNOW WHITE clones into 12/12 today, both have had a real growth spurt in the last 48 hrs and look ready enough to go as I dont want them to get too big in late flowering.

So Wednesday 14th April is 12/12 day 1 for MsAngel and Perspicacia.

All 5 plants watered this am. The 4 SW got 1ml BioGrow per litre, Trinny got 2ml grow plus 2 ml bloom per litre. Pots dry out fast in this mix, 48 hrs and they're featherweights again :blsmoke: So currently watering every other day.

Pics concentrate on the 2 SW plants about to begin 12/12 today. Both have been tied right down to encourage branching along the stems. They have not been topped, I will control those tops with more LST as they grow but still let them form single colas later in flowering :eyesmoke:

Pics of the mother plant to these 2 clones can be seen at tamjams thread, some lovely pics of the mutant mum over there showing her typical heavy mutant bud formation.

The next SW from a different mother will be vegged up for another 3 weeks and heavily LST'd to keep her nice and short, then she goes into 12/12 too. The smallest will still be kept as a bonsai mum for the strain. Shes real compact and Indica looking, bushy lady (called Cynthia).

Cheers SICC, I must take a look at that beautiful BS lady of yours now :-)

Spindles: Thanks for looking in here :-)

Pics show: 'msAngel' in red pot and 'Perspicacia' in the black pot.

For those new to LST note that the white ties are always the first to go in and are called anchor ties as they steady the stem and stop any pulling on the root systems when you pull down on the other yellow tie. So you're pulling in both directions evenly.

She was placed outdoors and suffered a week of heavy rain, didnt look too good so I had to let her go. But to be honest I was worried about the mite infestation passing onto any future clones so no bad thing maybe. Didnt get a lot off her, less than a dry OZ but you cant win them all. Quality of Delias buds is good though, gets me nicely stoned on very little and has a bit more buzz than I normally smoke as she was cut down at 7 weeks 12/12.

I'm looking for average just 14g per harvest from now on, but with regular harvests every 2 to 3 weeks once this thing is up and running. Small pots/small plants/small but regular harvests is the aim of this.

JS & RS cheers again for following my thread bongsmilie

Bigman, how you doing? I'll check out your thread right now my friend.

Trinny is a little eye candy MS... lookin good.
Thanks F2H :-). she's been ignored a bit as I've been focusing on the Snow White clones and planning the perpetual schedule, but here she is today at day 22 of flowering. She's lovely and compact, looks promising to me :-)

Other pic shows one of the non mutant SW clones from the short and bushy mother. I've called her'Cynthia' (named after Cynthia Payne, what a woman, I always admire those who challenge the hypocracy of society, see below!!) . Shes got 3 weeks before she goes into 12/12 too. As things progress veg periods will get longer and controlling height will become more challenging.

(As usual, please remove the large images if quoting, cheers :-)

Trinny.

Cynthia.

* Cynthia Payne;
Cynthia Payne (born 24 December 1932, in Bognor Regis, West Sussex) is a retired English party hostess who made the headlines in the 1970s and 1980s when she was accused of being a madam and of running her brothel at 32 Ambleside Avenue, in Streatham, in the south-west of London, England.
In 1986, the police raided her home again, this time during a "special party" she was hosting. Although she was acquitted, the resulting court case in 1987 made headlines for several weeks with lurid tales, some details of which she aired on The Dame Edna Experience in 1988, with co-guests Sir John Mills and Rudolf Nureyev, where she also launched her book, Entertaining at Home.
On this programme, she expressed an interest in becoming an MP, in order to change Britain's anti sex laws, which she followed through with by standing for Parliament as a candidate for the Payne and Pleasure Party in the Kensington by-election in July 1988, followed by her standing in her own area of Streatham in the 1992 UK General Election. She did not achieve entry into Parliament.

Hey MS, How big are those pots? and are you going to do transplants during the grow? or just use the small pots in the back. Starting to look like you have a good start.

Morning all :-) thanks for the comments. I'm happy with how its all going so far, should be good a few weeks down the line.

jjmd, A shot for scale for you. I'm using just 7" pots now, wont go any bigger. They have 3 litres of soil in them a 50/50 mix of Westlands 'advanced plus' and perlite. Cynthia will be potted up to 7" before she goes into flowering in 3 weeks time. The other I'm not sure about yet. I want to get a couple of cuts of each of the mutants but need to keep numbers down. If all 4 root then I may pass a couple on to a lovely lady grower friend of mine at the school. She grew 2 of my Bubba O Kush clones outdoors last year and it was really good, she gave me a nice chunky sample to try :-)

So here you go, the 4 Snow White clones today and as they arrived unrooted but freshly cut in the post from tamjam on 23rd March :-) What a great gift :peace:
16th April.

23rd March.
