Lookin good ms! What have you got the clones wrapped in?
Thanks gumball,

The picture shows the best way to send clones through the post. Take your cut, wrap the stems in wet kitchen towel then wrap that with brown tape or cling film to hold the moisture. This is the most common method of sending clones, never known one to fail yet :hump: Soon as they arrive make the angle cut and dip in clonex (or whatever).

I should stress that you have to be sure about who's sending them, security is a must.

So that pic shows the same 4 clones, as they arrived and now a few weeks later :-) Mother plants can be seen in tamjams excellent Snow White thread.

Oh, ok, I thought those were clones u took off your current crop. I misunderstood.

Yeah, I agree security is a must. Even more so than ordering seeds.

I am about to start my first 12/12 seed and try what u and v12 are doing. Sucks I don't have fem seeds, but I do have a few seeds from some sinsemilla that threw out a few last minute seeds. From what I read those are "probably" fem'ed so hopefully no ball sac's.

I need a little more return on investment to order seeds. The wife is a good bookkeeper, but she can be rough sometimes ya know!

thats so cool that you can send clones through the post that way. we should start a clone club. lol
I know its been pretty common practice here in the UK at least, many UK cheese clones (clone only strain) were passed around this way between forum members. But I don't want to encourage anyone to break that golden growers rule! It would be irresponsible of me to do that.

UPDATE. MAZAR AT DAY 25 FLOWERING, 2 SNOW WHITE MUTANT CLONES AT DAY 4 FLOWERING AND 2 'SHORT' SW CLONES STILL IN VEG!

You can see how the 2 mutant cuts are taking off. I removed the main top from both, there is much new growth shooting along the stem.

The 2 'Indica' SW cuts are short and stocky but potentially could be ideal for this small cabinet, I can see the 2 mutant cuts are going to be a challenge to control. 'Tamjam' tells me the mother of 2 short plants is well behind the mutant mother in flowering too. New pics on his thread if you want to see the donor mums and compare them. The plant at the top of this page is the mother of the short clones. She looks tasty to me ! :-)

Trinny is doing nicely for 3.5 weeks in 12/12, shes my ideal shape and size for this cabinet and I'll reveg her in the veg box once harvested. Smoke from her mother (Delia) is really good :-) Just a reminder strain is Mazar (Mazar I Sharrif x skunk #). F1 hybrid.

(Please delete the large images if quoting, thanks :-) )
Damn MS, shes already exploding with buds, whats your secret? ;)
you said it!!! hes not gonna tell us lol i wish he would :-P

im gobsmacked, when i first saw them mutants i was like wow!!!! they've gone mad haven't they.

and see how tight and compact those vegging ones are, as for their mum being behind is funny as all three plants have been cared for in the exact same way, shes sure starting to catch up now though!! any way prob be another story in your hand.

but the main thing is containing them, so if she does end up being a bit longer at flowering all you would have to do is have 1 or 2 extra plants in there and that would sort that out

trinnys looking good for how long shes been flowering for, im well excited to see you pull of the 3 weekly harvest!!:-P

cheers mate

UPDATE: 28days 12/12 'Trinny' (Mazar clone) 7 days 12/12 for 2 'mutant' SW clones.

Quick picture update: Took 2 clones from the SW mutants today. one from each. Everything else going nicely so far. The 2 vegging SW's are catching up, I got a good feeling about those 2 :blsmoke: The bigger one will go into 12/12 in 2 weeks time :eyesmoke:

Its beginning to feel like the start of a true perpetual grow now, I'm all over the place with dates so its useful being able to keep track in this thread!

Apologies for the brief update :peace:

ya i like in the last pic how you can see the difference in age in them all. Lookin good man! I like the perpetual grow too, very efficient if you just want to supply yourself, And thats 28 days?!?! damn i cant wait till day 70 lol. Do you put them in the sun on those nice sunny days?( looked like it in the first pic) I do it makes a world of a difference, and you get to see them in sunlight so they look all shiny and sparkley .

Yes, I use that big growlamp in the sky whenever its there:-) Last week here has been blue skys every day so they make the trip downstairs each day for about 6 hours and quickly life those fans to catch every ray, its lovely to watch. They're still behind glass though but that still beats any growlamp out there. I recall a guy here who did light metre tests 400watt HPS v natural sun behind glass (greenhouse), the readings were of course far higher from the sun!!!!!! You may lose a little and they may filter out some light but boy do they still grow :-) So yes, AudiA6Driver, I agree with you totally.

V12, thanks mate. I just commented on your amazing latest harvest :-O

Quick pic while I'm at it of the 2 more compact Snow White clones in veg. Still in smaller pots but the bigger will be moving into her new pot next week ready for flowering in 13 days time. The smaller (Cynthia) I have now made up my mind to keep as a mother for this strain as I think this short bushy pheno will be ideal for my cabinet and perpetual grow. Both plants have now been topped once and as they are staying so short I have now cut the LST ties.

whats under the bubble wrap there? seedlings maybe...
Hi Gumball,

2 cuttings taken from the 'mutant' Snow White plants, one from each. I calculate I'll need these in roughly 5 weeks time to keep my perpetual thing ticking over so plenty of time! I did have 2 tiny mazar cuts but ditched them in favour of these, I like to keep plant numbers low. The Mazar in flower will be revegged in my little veg box for future Mazar cuts as I love this strain :-)

The cuttings are in perlite as I found they rooted in 10 days last batch that way! But those were very fine strong clones I was gifted from tamjam :-) Anyway, no hurry.

Further down the line I'll streamline the SW and work with a nice short bushy mother. I still want to introduce a Kush strain again but I'll wait until I get this under control first.
