I wish I had more old pics mate, that one was in a folder I hadnt looked in. The strain just jumped right up at you, thick strong stems and the buds exploded under the old 600 but I had about 6 to 8 plants sharing that lamp and never got them closer than about 14 to 16" as the heat was pretty intense using that thing in the loft! Seeing it again just makes me want to go out and buy a HPS again, I have to be honest.

Hi tamjam,
Thanks for that link, interesting. I think V12 has sent me links to a similar thing and I'm considering my options, but one things for sure the lighting will be upgraded very soon.

UPDATE:

Ok so I've been adopting an aggressive but organic regime to fight the spider mites by spraying all plants with SMC (product details below) almost every other day. Agatha is now 5 weeks and 2 days into 12/12 but I'm still spraying all over with no harm done to the buds save a few shrivelled hairs and this is normal with most mite treatments I have read reports of.I'm confident that I am winning the battle, but there are still a few adults moving on the leaf and where I see them I'm removing them with a syringe dipped in honey to just pick them off! Its worth the battle as I want to finish these plants.

heres where I am today:

Agatha is at 5 weeks + 2days 12/12
Cynthia is at 2 weeks and 2 days 12/12.

Widdecombe is in veg and doing well and clear of mites.
Perspicacia was the first snow white I harvested (early) and shes now in re veg after 16 days and looking good. This was onew of the mutant cuttings from tamjams SW grow and I really want to give her a second chance to reach full potential.

Treatment: having used Neem oil in the past I decided to go with a different product SMC. Its slowing them right down for sure, I cant see any eggs on the undersides of leaf (tiny white dots in clusters) so I'm sure I'm breaking that breeding cycle. It has a gentle coriander aroma to it and a slightly oily consistency. Its 100% organic as I wont use anything else. Bottom line is that I can live with spider mites so long as it dont get out of control and to me that means seeing them on the buds and webbing over, as I have seen in extreme cases in the past when left un checked. But I'll keep on spraying them twice weekly.

Heres some pics and product information on the SMC I'm using.

looking good MS, that plant from the top looks just like her mothers did :p i will remember that SMC and will purchase some in a week or two just to be on the safe side, remember that it was agathas mother that went over 10 weeks and was mighty fine, hows her buds looking close up now at 5 weeks 12/12? the mutant (ms angel) is by far the fastest budding pheno out of the bunch that i had.

any updates on what your planning??

Wow ms. That blue Rhino looks awesome.
I'm still fighting my bugs so I know just how you feel. Us humans are the dominant race though and we have the technology so I'm just looking on it as a blip :)
Sounds like you and tamjam hit paydirt with those genetics. Thanks tamjam.

Hey MS. Get stuck into those mites. Irritating little thinngs. Anyway i might have missed it but it there a specific reason that you are revegging Perspicacia instead of from normal clone or seed?

Hi RS,

Perspicacia was not given the chance to reach her full potential but the buds even cut at 7 weeks are really potent! I find just 2 small single skins can have a true 'messed up' effect on me, its one of the strongest I've had in a good while. MsAngel is the same. So I just HAD to let one reveg as both are from tamjams mutant mother. Good news is shes showing new shoots already and will I'm sure come back strong.

Heres the others. Given the effect of the SNow White I'm finding I'm smoking much less!! So hopefully I can take these to a much later finish. You can see Agathas not a big plant and wont yield big, but at just under 6weeks flowering the buds are looking nice so I'm happy :-) No mites on the buds and now much more under control.

Cynthia the other flowering plant is at day 18 of 12/12 and looks promising.

Widdecombe the clone is ready for a repot now and has a bit more vegging time yet.

*Edit* having problems uploading images! I'll try again later.

Couldn't get the pics to upload for some reason yesterday so here they are:

Red pot - Agatha - 6 weeks tomorrow 12/12.

Black pot - Cynthia - 3 weeks 12/12 tomorrow.

Small red pot - Widdecombe - still in veg. (tamjam, shes a clone from one of the mutants clones you sent me, and I'll be taking more cuttings from her to keep this line going)

Perspicacia is at day 18 of reveg (18/6) and starting to shoot again. She of course is one of the original mutant clones (gets confusing!!).

'funky stuff' I know what you mean mate :-)... Its almost trippy! takes me right back that does :-) I get the old shut eyed visuals with this stuff, dancing lights and patterns and disorientation..... wonderful. I guess I've been smoking pure indicas for too long. We must keep the mutant going.

ha ha im glad your enjoying it MS :eyesmoke: once my mutant reveg's im either gonna veg that up nice or a clone and grow just one plant but make it a big plant and maybe keep a mother? maybe a SCROG. i reckon it will be a monster yielder aswell given a massive veg.

this pheno is sure worth sticking with, you described it very well, it has the same effect on me too :eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:, its deffo a strange one as it has 1 2 and 3 blade fan leaves

looking forward to your re-veg

hey MS any updates on the re-veg? my mutant got chopped a minute ago !!! and is going for re-veg
Apologies to SICC, PBF and tamjam for the long gap since since the last update. To be honest I got a bit hacked off with things for a while but I think we're back under control again! Here's where things are at right now:

'Cynthia' is at 5.5 weeks flowering and looking good overall. Those mites are well under control and one thing I did was to raise humidity in my box, it really helped. I think these buds will swell nicely over the next couple of weeks.

The mutant SW clone 'Widdecombe' is now just over 2 weeks into flowering and she has exploded with shoots, I'm loving what I'm seeing here :-)

'Perspicacia' was one of the original 4 clones gifted by tamjam and shes coming back nicely now and just showing serrated single bladers again after 4 weeks revegging. She was the first one I cut early and was also from tamjams mutant plant. I plan to give her another 3 weeks to get fully back to 3 blades again then re-flower her.

I'm really liking this Snow White so I have ordered a few fem seeds just to add to the mix and see what they can do from seed. I'm also fortunate enough now to have clones of Big Bang & Trainwreck sitting in the veg/clone box waiting to root :-) I'm only really looking for one of each as I like to keep numbers down. Big thanks once again for the kind gift my friend :-)

Plants have been going outside in the sun for a week now and man have they responded! Weathers set fair for another week ahead. They go out around 9am and go back in the cab around 7pm. Lights are set 8am to 8pm. Feeding bio bizz grow and bloom and as they are drinking plenty right now in the temps outdoors they are being well fed.

Pics : Cynthia in black pot, Widdecombe, red pot. Also the new shoots just coming through on the reveg mutant clone.
