And how many of the civilly-held ones are assault rifles? Since they're Federally classified as machine guns (class 3 only), it'll be less than 0.1% of that total. All class 3 weapons in the USA currently total 240 thousand, give or take. cn

Yes it was the police and the pro-gun Politicians but the only reason it passed
in NY (I live here) is because the majority of Libs/Dem politicians wanted it also..they have the control here in NY.

They were all in gun free zones. How do you stop someone actively shooting people? Throw a stack of papers at him? (laws) Examine his mental health (mental health)? Time travel to the past really quick and check if he has a criminal record ? (Background checks) Make sure he has to spend two seconds reloading more often in the event he bought magazines made after 20xx? (Magazine size restrictions)
