And how many of the civilly-held ones are assault rifles? Since they're Federally classified as machine guns (class 3 only), it'll be less than 0.1% of that total. All class 3 weapons in the USA currently total 240 thousand, give or take. cn

The masses don't consider only fully automatic weapons as the only assault weapon.

Yes it was the police and the pro-gun Politicians but the only reason it passed
in NY (I live here) is because the majority of Libs/Dem politicians wanted it also..they have the control here in NY.

Yeah like these anti-gun politicians here in NY want their personal info out there for the world to see....when their a$$ is on the line they are quick to agree .


There's a few other things the police would like changed but these other things don't put the Libs/Dem politcians here in NY in danger so these politicians don't give a crap unless it involves them and their families.

Gun control is like banning cars because of drunk drivers. How about we run background checks on car buyers? Or a bartender has to do a background check before he can serve you that beer? Or banning cars that can go faster than 55 mph, after all, why do you need a car that goes faster than that?

They were all in gun free zones. How do you stop someone actively shooting people? Throw a stack of papers at him? (laws) Examine his mental health (mental health)? Time travel to the past really quick and check if he has a criminal record ? (Background checks) Make sure he has to spend two seconds reloading more often in the event he bought magazines made after 20xx? (Magazine size restrictions)

Yes, thank you, I forgot the obvious. Although, I don't think Loughner was in a gunfree zone but you're right, just another example of government intentions going bad. I'd like a gun control advocate to explain how all these school shootings could take place in gun-free zone. I mean, after all, if it's a gun-free zone, how did the guns get there?
