Excellent Yankee, I`ll puff, puff, pass to that :D. After your BTB harvest you should have a nice nug pile for yourself mate,

KC :weed:
Yeah man, I'll add it to the pile! I've got to start smoking more!

very nice man, I was just starting to think you had been growing them for what seemed like ages.
Yeah I know what you mean! I popped these seeds back in Feb and it seems I've been watching others plant/harvest multiple times since ;-). Glad you stuck around - you've been onboard since the get-go!

Oh man, it is killer! Can't wait it has a proper cure. I'll definitely be posting a smoke report but will already stand behind a recommendation of Hashberry.

Another week with the Mandala grow and the two BTBs from the first round are getting close to harvest. Last feeding (about a week ago) I gave them just plain ph 6.4 water and they have not needed a drink since. Humidity is up to the low 70s in the flower room (~68 in the basement) so I am getting a growing a little concerned about mold with those big colas. I probably will not be pulling them out again until chop time as some of the branches are straiing to support the weight (happy problem!).

Here is a group shot. The BTBs are on the left and right of the fan, taking up a big chunk of real estate.

..and a few pics of the BTB colas

IMG_9827.jpg IMG_9828.jpg IMG_9829.jpg

The lone BTB in the second round is about three weeks behind and is bulking up nicely. I like the result so far of topping the four main branches - it seems to be better distributing the energy to all the colas. Not a great pic, but there she is tucked in the right side corner.

IMG_9823.jpg

Two of the three HBs are right in front of the door with the sickly, spindly one on the left and Angel on the right. I did have to tie one of the branches on the tall HB to the trunk as it broke under the weight of its modes secondary cola. Angel on the right is blooming nicely, building a dense main cola and colas on secondary branches. She is showing much of the same trains as the HB harvested last week and I suspect this is the same pheno. I think she has definitely benefited from NOT topping her.

Here are a couple of pics of the two HBs under HPS and just before lights on.

Main colas of each

IMG_9826.jpg IMG_9825.jpg

After a week of drying HB2 weighs in at 61.5 grsor just over 2 ozs. I put the bud into mason jars and started burping today.

Bonus: A couple shots of the very full flower room, with seven different strains in residence.

Cheers!

Big feed tonight. Got all the girls out of the flower room so I figured I'd snap some pictures and share. Apologies for the HID lighting on the older BTBs but they are too big, full and dank to risk moving out of flower!

Here is the shorter Beyond the Brain, but good things come in small(er) packages. I am guessing that she is packing more weight, with more big, dense buds (0 larf!) than her big sis. She got a small, water-only feeding tonight as she is just about ready to chop. Most of her trichs are cloudy and ~5-10% amber so she will be harvested this week.

IMG_9833.jpg IMG_9834.jpg

Here is the taller Beyond the Brain S-dom pheno. She is nearly all bud and is fattening up daily. I expect she will be finished in another 1 to two weeks.

IMG_9832.jpg IMG_9835.jpg

The second gen BTB has been beefing up as well this week. Gave her a booster of EJ Microblast as some of her bigger fan leaves are yellowing a bit.

IMG_9830.jpg IMG_9831.jpg

Somehow I forgot to take snaps of Angel, my prized Hashberry. I will take her out in the morning and update this post.

Here is the big, sickly Hashberry. She has longer, thinner leaves than the shorter pheno with smaller but frostier buds. She is also developing a more musky, earthy scent than the other HBs and now has me intrigued. I have kept a cutting from this plant and if she makes it to harvest and produces a different, quality smoke I will give her another chance - maybe I accidentally top dressed her with strychnine instead of EWC  Week 6 of flower.

IMG_9844.jpg IMG_9845.jpg IMG_9846.jpg IMG_9847.jpg IMG_9848.jpg IMG_9848.jpg

This is the Hashberry from the failed Mainline attempt. She is showing similar behavior to The Bush: extremely dense, short and wide. The Mainline actually helped open her up and spread out the dense growth. The four main branches are also tied back to open up the center a bit more to allow the secondary bud sites more light and air flow. Four weeks into flower.

IMG_9836.jpg IMG_9837.jpg

That's t for the BTBs and HBs. Since I had em out and snapping pics anyway, thought I'd share the rest of their roommates.

Here are a couple of White Widows in their 4th week.

IMG_9838.jpg IMG_9839.jpg IMG_9840.jpg IMG_9841.jpg

This is my go-to Critical+ starting her 4th week. She also got a Micro boost this feed.

IMG_9842.jpg IMG_9843.jpg

And a couple fire-and-forget freebie auto seeds, Super Cheese Express and Cheese Candy. I almost always run my freebies - figure I can always make hash or butter!

awesome man. Know what you mean about not wanting to move them in late flower, i'm the same really... you could end up snapping a branch by accident, never mind how awkward it is... looks like you have scored some fire with the freebies to man.. them bud shots look really dank.

Awesome grow!

I've got both the hashberry and btb in my garden this summer so your journal is very inspiring to say the least!

The first of the Hashberry is in the cure now and the scent is developing into a nice peppery, skunky, musky funk. I'll definitely be putting out a detailed review of the cured bud in a few weeks - stay tuned!

That's exactly my concern now puff. I decided not to stake out those giant colas and I don't want to risk the branches snapping at this point. I really like the Cheese Candy freebie growth and smell. Bud structure is dynamite and the scent kinda reminds me of those foo-fie, flavored after dinner coffees - maybe it will be my "after dinner" weed ;-)

Outstanding grow yankee. Love that BTB, she's beefy ya!
Thanks stone. I am really looking forward to getting those two phenos in my pipe. Won't be long now!

Welcome clink, thanks for jumping on the bus! Hope you find some useful info in the thread for your grow. Feel free to jump in the thread with any questions or PM me if you like. I'd be glad to help out if I can. One tip is to carry over your full-strength N feeding into flower for the BTBs. The tall pheno especially kicked into high gear immediately after the flip and showed a major N deficiency after about two weeks. Best of luck, man!

Hey guys, just thought I'd share a new thread I started on a new mainline effort with one of my Hashberry cuttings from Angel (my best Hashberry girl). The cutting had a tri-node structure so I thought t might be an interesting share. Check my sig for the link - All aboard!

Chopped the first of the two first-round Beyond the Brains today. It was the shorter of the two and yielded 265g of best and 128g of good buds for a total of 393g wet weight. I estimate about 3-3.5 oz dry/cured. Once I got them in my hand for trimming the buds turned out to be a little more airy then I had originally thought but still pretty dense for a sativa dom. No pictures as Mrs Yankee took her camera to work yesterday and it has not returned home yet.

The last of the first-rounders, the tall BTB is getting close to harvest and will probably be ready sometime next week.

Update on the first Hashberry yield: 61g or just over 2 ozs dry. It is now curing in Mason jars.

The sick Hashberry continues to require a great deal of attention. After tying off three more branches this week (Week 7 of flower), I decided to cut my losses and chop all of the lower branches off and let her continue to focus on the main cola. The smell continues to get funkier - in a good way. It is less peppery/spicy then the other Hashberry pheno with more of an in-your-face sharp, menthol-and-body-odor type smell. The buds on the branches are extremely wet and resinous and may have gone long enough to stand on their own but if not I'll be using them for hash.

The other HBs and the BTB are doing very well and continuing to bulk up as they enter the last weeks of flower. The tall BTB should be ready to chop early next week and is just starting to show a few amber trichs with the rest mostly milky.

Sorry there are no pictures but the Mrs still has the camera. Reminded her this morning to bring it home so I can have it for the weekend. Thanks for bearing with me.

Nice colas!
Thanks EM, much obliged. They were already unstable and I let the medium/plant dry out for the past four days and was concerned they were going to snap off from the flower room to my work table!

Update on the first BTB harvested: I put the rest of the buds that have been drying into jars for cure. Dry weight is 106.8g or 3.8 ozs.

Just in your essence right now Yankee, love it buddy. That BTB looks just like my Jill but my color scheme will be different, looks fantastic brother. Great haul on your first one too, 3.8oz is beauty,
