All the plants have stretched out vertically this week after last weeks lateral move. They all more than doubled, hitting the 7"-9" threshold with the HBs outpacing the BTBs in growth.
All of the BTBs were able to give up cuttings so I took a couple from each plant's lower growth this morning and topped them all between the second and third node ala Uncle Ben's method. The BTBs have become almost odorless over the past two weeks so it was nice to get some scent in the air when they were topped. It was tough to pull the trigger and cut em down that far but a lot of folks seem happy with the technique and I'll try most anything once. The remaining limbs have already started to make a vertical move over the course of the day. I'll probably let them veg for a week or so before putting them in flower.
Cuttings are under the humidity dome in soilless medium. Never started cuttings in anything but rockwool so we'll see how that goes as well.
Three of the five HBs are prime for cuttings so I think I will take them tomorrow morning, top less aggressively and maybe leave them in flower for a day or two before flipping the lights on them. I am really happy with their consistent growth so far.
