Honestly though with something like hashberry seems like you'd have a good chance of finding a keeper. If you did get a male, having the land race genetics in it would prolly make it a good breeder to plat with at least.

Think I finally go the new lighting dialed in and had a good week of just vegging :leaf: and have the lights ~6" from the tops. All of the plants are working on their their 4th and 5th sets of leaves and have all bulked up a bit. I upcanned all to a soilless mix in 1 gal pots last Sunday. They definitely were not root bound in the Solo cups but all had some root mass at the bottom of the root ball. I gave them one feeding of EJ Catalyst/Micro/Grow+Hygrozyme and they have not needed to be watered since. Next watering will be with just Catalyst and Hygro.

Here are some pics:

Hashberry is what drew me to Mandala in the first place. Sounds like a great high, leaning more toward the Indica body buzz. It's a long way off, but stay subbed for a detailed smoke report bongsmilie

Just dropped the second set of BTB (5) and HB (5) beans into soil this morning. 9/10 germed last time, I think we can do better this time!

This thread started with 5 of 10 Hashberry and 5 of 10 Beyond the Brain seeds being planted. I now have a report on the other half of each packet - 5 Hashberry and 5 Beyond the Brain seeds. All five of the Hashberrys and 3 of the 5 BTBs are now seedlings. From the first batch, 5 of 5 of the Hashberrys are vegging and 4 of 5 of the BTBs are vegging. The BTBs did lag behing the HBs so I have not yet given up hope on the other 2.

Nursery shelf with HB/BTB on the left and 3 week Mandala Chill OM on the right.

Cool, glad to have you along for the ride. I have been looking at Hashberry for a while too. Hopefully it'll be as good as I hear and I can get a good mum out of this batch.

Nice job Yankee. I'm sure you'll find a nice mom out of all of those plants. Picking the right one will probably be the difficult part.

All of the plants are working on their their 5th and 6th sets of leaves and have filled in quite a bit. They are all 3.5"-5" tall and 7.5"-12" wide. Quite a bit of secondary branching taking place. They were fed with Earth Juice Catalyst/Micro/Grow+Hygrozyme on Monday and they have not needed to be watered since. Got another brew of EJ tea bubbling now and will feed tomorrow as they are just starting to show signs that they need to be watered/fed. Hoping to be able to take a clone off of the BTBs by the end of next week, top and get them into flower as soon as possible. HBs will likely lag behind by a few days.

Side note on the second half of the BTB/HB packets: 5/5 on the HBs but only 3/5 of the BTBs have made it to seedlings. That makes a total of 10/10 on the HBs and only 7/10 on the BTBs.

HBs (group, secondary branching on HB1, HB1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

looks fantastic yankee! I would think those BTB will get pretty large if you let them. The website says their height is short-tall, sooooo....who knows? You got a lot of headroom there? or maybe another plan. Those HB are beautiful too!:weed:

Thanks man. They are pretty compact right now, ~4" after 4 weeks of veg but very wide. Plan to use Uncle Ben's topping method (top above the 2nd node) which will knock em back down and set em up for 4 main colas. That should keep them in check, but first time with this strain so have to play it by ear.
