lung problems

Hey guys

I have asthma and recently smoking has been difficult. Every bong rip I'm coughing forever, and they are big hits. Pipes and joints i cough. I'm told i am also breathing really hard in my sleep.

is there an option to help my lungs besides sstopping completely, or only using a vape?

But seriously, try a vaporizer. Or try making medibles. Or you can supplement yourself with medibles. For example eating a mild pot brownie, then reducing the amount you actually smoke. Just half a bowl may do you in after a brownie instead of trying to rip through several bowls and tearing your lungs up.

Switch to tinctures or edibles. Seriously. Vaporizers (depending on the model) can cause bronchial and lung irritation. As an asthmatic it's probably best to stay away from anything that involves your lungs.

Have you talked to your doctor about this?

I've noticed this quite a bit. I love my vape but its been giving me a dry agitated cough. Anything else and i am always coughing up black crap though. I had to start using an inhaler because I have been having a hard time breathing. I only smoke about a half every two weeks. No cigarettes for past 5 years.

THC is an expectorant, and was once marketed in liquid form by Eli Lilly I believe for treatment of asthma. For years I wrongly assumed it was the actual smoke that made me cough, when it's actually the THC expanding the alveoli in the lungs.

THC isn't the problem with smoking. It's the irritants and carcinogens from burning.

I live in the sticks. No pollution. My dabuddha vaporizer does the same thing to me and I'm as healthy as a horse.

Then it sounds like the cannabutter route would be the best alternative, I'm actually going back to it after processing kief into hash for the past year. Plus the holidays are coming, so it gives me an excuse to use it in butter rum cake.

I really like Cannabooze. You put it under your tongue or mix it with a hot beverage and then you medicate. voila! she is done!
