Go with what matches your reflector or you will need an adapter. I'd go with a Galaxy and a wing reflector.

What kind of bulb you burning because if its hortilux, dont buy iether of these.Ive had gallaxys and lumiteck and niether burns the eyes.If you use cheap bulbs then these are good ballest.Im trying ushio bulbs in my lumiteck 600 now.It blows hortilux eyes in about two months.Lumiteck is saying hortilux lowered the quality of the bulb last year is what causing all the trouble.they have a huge thread on thc farmer and the owner of lumiteck is posting in the thread.Check that thread out before you spend your cash......................................................Peace......

Hey dudes dont but nothing from hydro wholesale.I bought several thousand dollars worth and Im on that fucking DEA hit list that comes from shipping invoices from companys that advertise in HighTimes.Ive been worried to death since Ive seen the guy in Michigan get busted off that mailing list. Go to thc farmer and look under grow room problems or something like that. Its got a lot of good info and the guy who owns lumiteck tells you what bulbs to use.He deffenatly says not to use the eyes with the 600s.Get your lights somewhere else! .........................Peace

I've had six lumitek (three 600s and three 1ks)-----five of the six went down within a year.

I'm a feared------ the 1k technology isn't quite there yet for digital ballast.

(I've always been a fan of the hortilix lamps (bulbs)).

What is a safer company to use. I need a 600 watt mh/hps light electronic ballast that is an air cooled system. with a digital timer and light hanger.

Id buy next generation but I dont know if they have the buggs worked out of those duels,Im always skeptical about new electrical shit.Ive got two lumitecks that I cant burn but a certain kind of bulb.I like my hortilux eyes and its hard to change to cheap shit even tho Ive seen good grows with cheap bulbs

Im running ushio bulbs in my lumiteck now, thats what they recommend at the hydro store in Ashville. Its supposed to be the same enhanced spectrum.105.00 compared to the eye at 129.00(600 watt) I did some research and these are well made german bulbs,They make one that has a duel spectrum MH and HPS in one bulb(289.00).too rich for me.This ushio bulb is running fine soo...... far.
