LSD Scrog | 400w | RDWC

Yeah shim i was going to go another week but then i counted the days to see were i was going to land and its a bit too long for my taste. I'm like you, i start getting fucking bored lmfao. This is the longest ive ever vegged and its fucking killing me.
 
Wellllllll its not really about harvesting ON the 4th because that would mean only 52 days flowering since i flipped last night. Its more about my area is really dry around that month so it would work out very well for me.
 
lol so the plant has gone through 1 1/2 12/12 cycles and its fucking blowing up hard, an inch of growth on all tops overnight. Going to keep my veg nutes in until the stretch is over and i start seeing flowers. Peace all :peace:
 
So i just purged basically anything that was under the screen, lots of new potential nodes will be poking through in the coming days. I feel good about doing it but my back doesnt. I snapped a small node right off the stem, duct taped it back together, maybe it'll live.

maybe im just a baby then bro lol, i AM 25! I wouldnt have a problem with it if there wasnt a 2x4 i had to lay on just to get in there. I'm sure it would be quite comical to watch me doing my pruning under there, when i was done i had a shot of vodka lol.

Havnt trained her through the screen in a few days, will do some kinky bondage tonight with her though.

hey shim should i be letting the middle tops go? should i bend em down or anything? There is really nowhere else for them to go so ive just been letting em grow
 
When I scrogged, I stopped all bending/training after the first week of flower. If one cola gets insanely tall, you can tie a string to it and just gently angle it downward, but looking at your pic from the 19th, I wouldn't do anything to it except think positive thoughts.
 
alright man ill leave em alone now, i did some training last night sadly but there is tons of stretch left in her i think. Im kinda glad because its a real fucking bitch training shit in the back of the screen lol.
 
When I first started scrog, I did an entire closet like you did. It sucked. When I got a slightly bigger closet, every plant had its own wheeled 2' x 2' cart that had a frame supporting a screen built into it. That way I could wheel each plant out and sit in relative comfort while working on it, and unscrew the frame when it was time to harvest. It was also easier to have second person help when we both didn't have to cram in by the screen.
 
Me doing scrog again will be determined by how much more i yield compared to growing 1 monster plant, if i get over 8 zips ill be running scrog for ever. anything less might not be worth my time
 
Thats looking great man. I would personally let it go (although I have no experience scrogging) like said above. Think happy thoughts! I thought I was only going to get 2 ounces but it ended up being a little over a qp :bigjoint:

If they are about equal, scrog is easier to trim than a bush...
 
So i had a thought last night, i have a heavily used 400w hortilux bulb (at least 4 grow cycles) that i replaced and kept as a backup in case my main blew. I'm thinking of figuring out a way to make this run in my box. Is going to homecheapo or blowes and asking the electrician there to help me build a cheap ballast? Is this safe? lol
 
I don't think it's a very good idea to build a ballast. Would be a cool project but nothing I'd trust to run for months on end.
