LSD Scrog | 400w | RDWC

putting in the net right now, its a fucking bitch, call me a lazy american but i hate work! Always feels good after though
 
Screen ended up being 11inches from the netpot. A little high, I guess i measured wrong lol. They will need to grow about 2 inches until i can start training. I lowered the light a bit too to increase intensity.

If it wouldn't be a total bitch, couldn't you flip the screen over to position the screen on the bottom of the frame instead of the top to get it that 2 inchs closer if you wanted?

That's how I have my screen, string is downwards. That way it's a little bit closer to the plant.
 
just turned it upside down like you guys suggested, was even able to start training! Thanks guys
 
Yo guys when should i flip? Shim i need your input the most here for obvious reasons. I think im going to fill the screen as best as possible to about 75% to 80% then flip. I do want them to grow above the screen a bit, what do you guys think
 
I've never done a real scrog, but 75% seems to be the going number most people use unless they know it is going to be a real stretchy strain or they know it won't stretch much at all.

I usually don't fill most of the screen because in hydro(at least in my experience) they stretch a lot more than they do when growing in soil. Depends on how much height you have too. If you have all the headroom in the world < 4' then I'd say yea, fill up most of the screen, if you're extremely limited like me (2ft MAX) then you probably shouldn't fill more than 50% of it. As you can see with my plant, even if I don't fill much of the screen it still stretched way more than I thought it would and one site is actually above the cool tube glass.

yeah man your cola is a monster, i can set my hood at 8 feet maxed out, i also need to yield as much as humanly possible for my area.
 
If you can set your hood that high you should fill out most if not all of the screen before flower.
