I found a Vortex seed. How are there seeds in your competition level greens?

It culminates with us sending in our judging stuff and them announcing the people's choice, not sure how they're telling us or even what the address to send it to is.... did I mention the planning was on key?

I don't know where the taste is, it's just not there in several of these. Fast cures?

And we're not vape snobbing it! I'd say 95% has been smoked out of my bubbler with the rest being vaped with a Volcano Digit. If anything that should improve the taste right? More pure vapor

I'll be bed time bowling with strain from Alternative Herbal Solutions called Night Shade. Kudos to AHS for labeling your shit! Smoke report tomorrow perhaps?

It's a great state to be in!

Sota, I've got a new taste theory...

So I acquired some beeswax at the Crown for smoking with. I wonder if the beeswax is killing some of the flavor? The dude said the beeswax would turn me into a snob and I wouldn't want to go back to just using a lighter cause the flavor would be better... or my original poor dry/curing is actually right. Bah, some are good, some are nothing. I hope my greens taste delicious!

Night Shade - It was definitely an indica. Nice taste, couldn't quite place it, fruity maybe? Got nice and baked. Looked pretty standard, nothing to write home about. A lot of them haven't looked that great, which I attribute to the samples only being .2 grams. Tough to get pretty .2 gram nugs right?

Smoke up Johnny! Just ran across the Night Shade while making a wishlist on the Tude. Was pretty stoned and cant remember a thing they said about it. Im still thinking about SSLW's Kings Kush! Dont know why but that shits got me twisted. I wanna grow some now.

IS the beewax them little ropes ya light up for lightin up the bowls?

Yea beeswax is the little rope. Kinda cool. I'll being doing some side by side tests of it and a lighter. We'll see if the waxy-ness is what's killing the flavor. I'm doubting it though

Coloardo love, hey man ive been following your build for awhile... Im about to be out ofthe military, and am seriously thinking about moving out to boulder. I have some friends that go to school there. Any tips/advice for someone moving out to colorado? Ive never been, but i love the laws, the women, and what i hear about the music scene. I will be a disabled vet, and will be seeking a mmj script. Is there some amount of time you actually have to live in colorado before your a citizen? Even if coming out of the military..

You will need a Colorado drivers license to get your MMJ card. To get the CO DL I think you just have to give up your current state's DL and they give you a paper copy CO DL and 30 days later you get your actual DL in the mail. That's how they do it in the mountains, but I've heard some of the front range DOT's give you your DL on the spot. Once you have your CO DL you just make an appointment with a doctor that's known for recommending MMJ cards and you make your case to the doc, you fill out some paperwork, you pay some money, and you're set! Finding an MMJ doc is easy. There's ad's on the radio, in the newspaper, all over Craigslist advertising dispensaries where doctors will be doing MMJ evaluations and doctor's offices that specialize in MMJ evlautions.

My best tip would be move out here in time for the Mile High Music festival, gonna be sick this year. Also, see as many shows at Red Rocks as you can. Beerfest in Keystone is sweet, as is Sunsation at Copper and the Dew Tour stop in Breck. The beer scene here is as awesome as the music scene. Then of course theres the mountains... greatest state I've ever lived in

Ha theres a lotta stuff happening in CO. Where you from Sota?

New gear isn't set up yet. T5 is going to be for vegging in round 2 so it'll probably stay in the box til it's time to use it. I might get it out just to make sure everything is in working order though, I'm curious. New reflector needs an adapter to convert it's Hydrofarm specific plug to my Digital Greenhouse ballast. I should have it up and ducted in with the scrubber this evening. Got the night off so I can get some shit done.

So new toys I got at the 20% off grow store sale yesterday:

4 tube 4 ft T5
Extrasun 6 reflector
Heat mat
Rapidrooters and tray
More clonex (so now I got the gel and the solution)

I think that's it but I got a bunch of stuff so I don't remember

The lady friend helped me get the XtraSun 6 hung up this afternoon under green light so it'd be all ready when it was time for the lights to come on. Loving the light spread this reflector gives me compared to the SunSoaker I had before.

Sick - T5's won't be running til germ/veg time after I move. Got a pic of the new hood running though. Stoked on my additions. Bigger and better dude!

Yea I talked with the hydro chick for a while and she broke out the dealer literature and the only difference between the Xtrasun, Radiant, and Daystar that I cared about was how it distributed the light. The Xtrasun's picture looked the best for a small number of plants plus it was the cheapest. Easiest decision ever!

How antsy are you these days? Harvest is right around the corner!

This afternoon I sampled Rocky Mountain Remedies "Heavenly Haze." Sota where you at? I really liked this one. The sticker on it says it's 55% sative 45% indica. I rate it 100% dank. It looked nice, dark green, red hairs, smelled great. Loaded up the bubbler and sparked it up Bic style. Tastes great and I took one hit then spent 30 minutes browsing on here before I realized I had more to smoke. Totally forgot about it. Nice. I dare say this is my favorite so far. Top 3 at the very least.

Side note - bonus points for the label and such RMR. It lists strain name, indica/sativa breakdown, dispensary name, phone number, and website www.rockymountainremedies.com if anyone would like to check them out. I'm sure it's just the same sticker that they put on everything they sell but still. It is truly amazing how poorly done some of these samples are. I just came across a non-ziploc sandwich bag (yes the kind you FOLD shut) that just has the letter R written on it in sharpie. I have no idea what to do with it. The bud looks dank though and I look forward to smoking the mysterious R

Lookin good fellow CO homie. I noticed that your ladies are right next to your furnace. Does the smell get into the ducts and through the whole house?

Welcome dude. I've got a carbon scrubber that's also in that room which helps but it definitely smells in there! So far I haven't noticed anything in the rest of the house, near the vents, or when I walk in the front door and I'm in my 7th week of flower. So it's either not pulling in the smell into the duct work or my 15 on 15 off regiment on the carbon scrubber is working.
