Light to space ratio?

Are the QBs I am looking at dimmable? And if so, would that be done at the ballast or how would one dim it?

Do they sell fully assembled light strip kits? I just don't want to trust myself with electrical components like that which will run non stop more or less...not that I cant do it, I would rather not. That's why those assembled and tested QBs are appealing.

The quantum board 135w kit and 100w kit are both dimmable via the driver. There is a small screw under the black rubber cap which dims when turned.

If they charged you more than $25 American for international shipping then you got ripped on that.

Yah if your out of country it’s more which sucks. But I think you’ll be happier with them.

I make money to spend it lol. I have money put away in iras and all sort of savings but no reason to make all that money and hold on to it it’s not going to the grave with me.

your setup sounds impressive! one day I hope to have a whole room dedicated to this awesomeness
My setup is good but by no means the best out there. I take pride I built all the rooms by hand and they all function as intended. There are guys on here that are setup way better than me.

Got my light!! Super excited about it even though they sent it with the wrong heatsink haha! Mounted it up and already loving it cause I can take normal pictures of my plants lol

I'm keeping the light about 12" above my plants, they are several weeks along but since I'm mainlining, its taking a bit to grow.

Going back to the dimming, I see 2 "Volume" adjusts, not sure which does what...would it be easy to dial it down to 80W without measuring equipment? or does it have to be fine tuned?

Figured out the dimming since it was running quite a bit warmer than my cheap eBay "300W" LED. I also can see exactly where my wattage is at with the power meter I purchased to check the total electrical usage of the box. Still running a bit too warm at 80W so I put it around 70W Still plenty bright.
