Light/timer issues

I have had my timer set to come on at 7pm and to go off at 7am..

I’ve been waiting until around 7:20pm to be cautious everyday before going into the tent.

last night it’s like almost 7:40 and I opened the tent and it was still dark inside… I feel like the timer keeps floating… so every morning before lights off I make sure that all the flaps and whatnot are closed.. the timer was at 4:30am when it was 5:30.. I pushed the timer forward to match the current time, eliminating like an hour of light… are the plants gonna herm out? Should I just buy a digital timer. I feel like this happened with my last grow and it’s a completely different timer. Neither were digital.

Just get a digi timer with built in battery, so it always keeps the time.

Been using these over a year not had look for anything else. I watch them all switch at same time every day. Two outlets.

I hate reading owners manual to plugs with all these settings so I just use the same ones. These for lights, nearpow for drip. Just hit a few buttons easy to remember.

Ive thrown out timers due to noone being able to figure out how they even work lol.
