Ninkasi, Cascade Lakes are some of my favs...but you can keep your Rogue.

Oregon and Washington make the best craft beers. Wife has to drive when we travel those states, cant help myself, too many to choose so lets just have a little of everything.

People don't have to be doing anything wrong to get their doors broken down, dogs shot and the couple hauled outside naked while cops ransack their house. This guy wasn't even growing:

A SWAT team raided Jonathan Whitworth's house in Februrary looking for a "large amount of marijuana." They shot his two dogs, killing one. All they found was a pipe, a grinder, and a "small amount" of weed. Now there's video.

With an almost admirable efficiency, the Columbia, Missouri SWAT team knocked down the Whitworth family's door, shot both dogs, and handcuffed Jonathan against the floor while hustling his wife and kid out the door. They were acting on information that Whitworth had a significant amount of marijuana he intended to sell. What they found instead was some stoner paraphernalia—a pipe and a grinder—and a "small" (i.e. misdemeanor) amount of the drug.

The DEA will bust small growers if they need the numbers and will then inflate what they find to the maximum possible. All they need is a tip to get them the warrant. After that, anything they find will be reported as HUGE in order to justify the raid.

Legalize growing and this all becomes a bad memory. I don't understand why you would be against legalized growing.

I'm against prohibition too. I think that a gradual movement towards legalization is the only way its going to happen.

So its all or nothing for you? Not even to help people get medicine that makes them feel better?

I'm am against prohibition as well. What state that is legal doesn't have some prohibitions in place?

In my state you cannot grow or possess. Retail or even medical sales is not going to happen. 1 plant is a felony. Is it better if we an get my idea passed or have the current prohibitions in place? Why do you sound like Rob Roy?

I think when London Fog isn't dreaming about football players tight ends, he brews beer...probably tastes like laundry soap though.

I brewed in a "follow the recipe way" a long time ago and then again a little more seriously several years back with a friend who has since passed away. Been thinking about brewing again or maybe making some wine.

My apologies for assuming you drank watered down girly beer, clearly I was mistaken.

Agreed, a friend in mead is a friend indeed.

My now deceased friend made an excellent batch from some really old honey. I wasn't able to help him make it, but I did get to enjoy some.
