What brand is he buying? And are those watt ratings the total draw (including built in fans) or the actual amount of power powering LED lights?

Thank you. I have to still got to finish my cabs but as i get the lights ill post some pics.

This will be my first grow and i was going to go HPS but after speaking to this guy for a while he really seems to know his stuff so i decided to take the leap.

Not really as he says his 70 watt lights are as good as 2 x 90 watt UFO lights. The guy has been totally honest with me from day one, he doesnt make stupid claims that alot of other sellers on ebay do. He says you need at least 210 watt of top quality LED's per square metre to equal a 600 watt MH. He says my 280 watt in my cab will be awsome.

Its alot of money but i tool the plunge, just the way he explains things gives me confidence in what he says. You should def talk to him. His name is Richard.

what size tent is it, im sort of wishing i had gotten the 300 the 240 is fuckin bitchin but in my space the outside ones grow just a cunt hair slower than the ones in the center. Hence wishing i had the extra 40w and the wider panel. Mainly just the wider panel i dont think the watts is going to make too big of a difference but the footprint size of the 300 vs the 240 is way better. The 240 is still handling though. Lets talk in hid terms its like if you bought a 400w hps instead of a 600w. You would be much more satisfied with a 600vs400. Same with these two panels i would think. Next one i get i think is going to be a 600w. MAYBE....

well im going to use a 3x3x7 grow space with 6 plants in 5 gal containers by the end of the harvest. the 3 i have now just grew over an inch a day since i popped that new light inside my trusty rubbermaid grow room. i think the 240 could handle 6 plants in soil of that size i think. I honestly want to crop out around 2-2.5 oz a plant on next grow and i think the 240 could do it. how many ladies do you have under that 240 and what kind of yields are you expecting on your strains so far? im honestly thinking of using that new DRII series they just came out with and is at a decent price on greners.com. btw guys if you contact them for a full order quote they dont knock anything off at all hardly. kinda rude but meh whatcha gonna do eh?

yes i know this lol MORE POWER HAHAHAHA im the tim taylor of bud growing lol its like tool time but for buds at my spot ROFL. HAHAHA you shoulda seen this cfl setup i used to have with like 30 23w CFL's lol haha shit grew shit so sick but damn if i didnt spend like 300 bucks on bulbs. Not one of my prouder moments but hey it worked hahaha.

alright man ill just get the 300 -=(

I currently have 27 plants between 2.5 and 3' tall on my 2x3 table under the 240w. Expecting about a half 0 per plant minimum next time im going to put less on the table and scrog them. just had a 5 ft. mother that was shot to me at the time and needed to chop it to size to fit in my veg room im set up for lots of small mothers not large ones lol i like variety

i would recommend it..... my ladies(which just started showing sex) are about to hit the 4 week mark on sunday. i am seeing HUGE changes in the growth of these plants. The EXPLODED with growth and i honestly cant wait to get the summary of my check on monday so i can plan out my bills to buy my whole new grow tent setup. im going to be purchasing the 2011 model in 240 or 300 for sure bro. i highly HIGHLY recommend the blackstar series now. plus i got mine on ebay new for under 130 shipped. and it hit my door in under 4 days! oh btw my model is more towards the flowering side so with autoflowers i think this might be interesting since they spend most of there life making buds. i have them in 3 gallon containers so im praying for a zip per lady on my first batch. after this i am going to run a setup with white widow norther lights and a few autoflowers to hold me over till the monsters are ready for harvest.

now here they are with around 3 days of led lights..... the growth inbetween the 3 days till i got my leds was almost none.

3 days from drab to fab........... seriously this is a lot of growth and i am impressed.
