Great Photos. I am now seeing Permafrost show up locally. 77 days to flower seems the norm. I think you are at 53 days. 77-53=24 days left, or just over three weeks. Are you still seeing bud growth? You can really see the result of the salt overload from a few weeks back. Tough to recover completly from that. If you are at 3 weeks to go, you may want to consider one more feeding, and then straight PH water for the final two weeks. I typically do a full flush with 14 days to go, and feed PH water from that point until a week to go. For the final week, I let them just feed on the remaining coco moisture. Good luck.

Nice! I've seen permafrost a few times around here not commonly though. The Permafrost in my OP was not from a dispensary so I'm not 100% if it is what it's supposed to be. I have had Permafrost from a dispensary though and it didn't really look like mine.

I actually gave her a feeding yesterday with only 300PPM though, She seemed to take it well.

I like how you have three sets of big colas, each headed to a light. That really makes the plant bush out. Is that about 600w of lighting? Never thought of spreading the lighting around like that. It is a good idea.

Yeah the LED is a 180W rated to cover a 4x4 area with the equivalent of a 600W HID and the CFLs are 200W each so total is 580W.

I had the idea when i started this grow I was like each of these CFLs is like a main light kind of so I figured it would kind of bush out towards it and it did.

Holy shit that bitch is getting bigggg, I wonder what would have happened if you transplanted into a bigger container! On another note it looks like there are a lot of completely dead leaves you could remove and a lot of burnt tips you could cut off if you so choose, might get rid of a little tension on the fishing line as well, save the tips and leaves you remove, you can still use them for some hash as long as they got a little "sugar" on them. I am not saying to remove any leaf that is damaged, they still have energy in them for your girl but removing a leaf that is 75% or more damaged is perfectly ok! Good luck man, I would agree with cutting off your nutes now and just watering with ph'ed water. Flush in a week and then let it ride out on all remaining water in the soil til the end! Great first grow,, very impressed!

Thanks man! Yeah I think that was the last dose of nutes she will be getting. Gonna give her PHed water the rest of the way I think. I'll finally start paying attention to these clones, haha I am keeping them healthy but not really making them explode yet, trying to keep them somewhat small for the moment My plan is to LST the rest of them this week at least just bend what is already there sideways and just let it go from there, nothing too crazy. I figure by keeping them small right now and LSTing them late it will buy me enough time to finish the mother and throw them in the tent with a screen over them then let them grow up through the screen as the vertical growth will have just begun. I'll veg them out for as long as needed then flower. I'm in no rush to get to my next batch so I don't mind taking things slow.

Also is there any other benefit to cutting off the dead leaves? The fishing line is holding up just fine with the way I tied the knot around the branch it isn't cutting into the branch or at risk of breaking at all.

You know I just got thinking.... Did I essentially "LST" this plant by putting a "sun" on each side of her? I'm stoned but hoping someone can follow this thought process. Instead of bending the plant couldn't you just tell the plant that "up" is 3 different ways by giving it 3 or more powerful light sources to grow towards on all sides? Or maybe I'm telling the plant that "up" doesn't matter because in this world the sun is more than just up. haha I don't know I hope someone follows this. Maybe I'm onto something here.

I think you are correct. She would not have those those big side colas without the two side lights. The LED lacks the penetration of a HPS, and you are making up for this by adding the side lights. I use a 300W LED for veg, and a 600W HPS for flowering. Your setup looks like a better producer to me. It will be real interesting to see how much dryed and cured product that you get per watt. I normally get around 450g's for a 600w grow in a 4x4 tent with co2 and 6-12 plants. Around here a gram per watt would put you in pretty good company. Anything over 1/2 gram per watt would be considered quite good. I am going to put my guess at 256 grams, which may be on the low side of estimates.

Daaaaamn. Nice plant, dude.

Hate to be a Debbie Downer, but that's gonna be one helluva bitch to trim, good Lord... Fun to smoke, though. bongsmilie

Did you LST by adding side lighting? I'd say, "Yea, basically." There seems to be a lot of popcorn action going on at the bottom, though. I mean some at that stuff is hard to even see in the pics. And imagine if you had snapped the main stem at some point, or tied it down so it was closer to the CFL's. The UFO could be closer to everything with a little effort.

I double dog dare you to use a screen next grow and compare yields.

As always, though, nice work. Enjoyable grow to come visit.

There is not gonna be any real benefit from removing those dead leaves, I mean it will save you a few minutes on trimming and make the plant look better in photos but no benefit as far as smoking or growing of the plant. You did essentially receive some of the same result you would have received with LST but instead of having 4-5 main colas, imagine having 14! As far as the clones go, make sure to leave yourself some room on all sides of your growing room so you can easily move around and bend branches under the screen, just a tip :)

Thanks man! Yeah that was something I didn't consider this time, due to lack of planning I made my work much harder the clones I'm trying to plan better for. The DR120 tent I have has doors halfway up on either side that open all the way so I am thinking I can place the screen a little beneath that and just open those to work instead of needing to go in the tent. I'll be working on planning this week on my days off.

I honestly need a bigger tent, those side zippers would be soooooo helpful, and you would actually want to put the screen a little above it so you can reach under and pull branches down as needed :)

So many of the leaves are starting to turn yellow and fall off. But they aren't crispy like the ones that were burnt. They are still wet just yellow. And limp. Is this the normal leaf drop expected near the end of flowering or it possible I have another issue?
