That is a very strong main stalk too so the fact it's bending that much makes me excited it's pulling that fishing line almost taught. Can't wait to weight it dry. When I kinda feel the stalk it feels pretty heft, not sure how much weight drops off after drying but this feels like it's quite heavy.

Yeah I didn't feel like watering when I was sick hence why my clones are so small. This is actually their first watering/feeding since I transplanted them to the smart pots originally. The coco finally dried out while I was sick and I let them sit for about a week, must still be wet in the root zone because even though they didn't grow much they still lived, when I saw they started to consume the nutes in the bottom leaves I was like damn it, gotta feed these babies.


Also, I'm thinking of getting rid of a few of the clones, you can tell by the pictures that some of them are obviously stronger than others. Also am I thinking about this right? I can LST them then grow the multiple tops through a screen and scrog that way? Would this be a good approach?\


ALSO almost forgot:
Spotted about 2 amber trichomes today while looking through the loupe, most milky, a lot clear but I could only find 2 amber trichs after searching 4 or 5 buds.

The clones are looking good. Are those fabric pots you are using? I use 2 gallon Smart Pots, and they look the same. These type of pots work great with CoCo. The root tips will grow through the fabric and "air prune" themselves. You might want to give the clones a quick fine mist foliar feed with just 5.9PH water. You will get a lot of different opionions on this, but I have found that watering/feeding more often in Coco works better for me. Unlike soil, coco will retain a good oxygen level even when over watered. Soil, on the other hand, loses a lot of its oxygen when over watered, and the plant can drown. I tend to water/feed every 1-2 days, and I feed until I see a little runoff. This gives me a good indication of how much is used between feedings. Mine will use about 1 1/2 cups per day. The downside of this much watering is algae growth on the surface of the coco. I have to keep a fan circulating through the roots to keep this in check. For grow #2, you might want to consider getting a 2x3 concrete mixing tub from Lowes or Home Depot. I can fit six plants in a tub. Two tubs in a 4x4 tent. Makes flushing a whole lot easier!!!
 
Those nugs are fattening up quite nicely dude, definite noticeable difference in size from the last picture, the nute burn makes me sad but that girl is still thriving! Perhaps we can get a picture with a coke can or something next to the buds for size reference? Grow on!

I thought this would be at tops an 6-8 oz plant. now im thinking 10-12.. huge..
and is it getting purple??

Clones are in 5 gal smart pots :-) I've heard good things about them and assumed they would do very well with coco glad my thinking was correct.

Yes, some of the calyxes appear to be getting purple. Which would be true to the bud the seed came from.
 
In the following photos the lighter is touching the side of each bud to show perspective accurately, I just snapped these on my phone really quickly, I'm off work the next 2 days and will hopefully be able tyo get some SLR pics again soon But here ya go Slinger:

I'm giving her a steady supply of 5.9 water so we'll see :-) Should I add hygrozyme to the water at all or no? Just straight PHed water? I've heard that adding anything other than water during the last 2 weeks can leave a chemical taste on the bud... is this correct?
 
Working on my technique of shooting through a loupe, I did the best I could I'll see if I can get more later... Also I think I might be seeing some purple trichs in the last picture... What do you think? I'll attach the full quality zip of these photos as well seeing as photobucket is going to destroy the work I did, I highly suggest looking at the full quality pics.

Looking mighty frosty there bro. You can totally see that it has a lot of fattening up to do! Thanks to you and PSUAGRO I am steering away from the Bud Candy, looking forward to see what Big Bud does for you, how much are you feeding it of the BB and when? Waiting is the hardest part.

This is the shit I like to see. I love big plantz. Your plants seem to be holding up fine with the fishing line, but when I used it, it cut through the stems. I'm sure you would have noticed by now, but just thought I'd mention that.
 
I'm using a pretty heavy fishing line I wanna say 12-14lb test but I'll check later. Also I tied fisherman's knots sort of around the branch so that essentially the line is not tight around the branch but rather the branch is sitting in a loop slightly larger than the branch but it is supported because the line is taut. It was a lot of work to tie each branch like this but well worth it.

My original idea when purchasing equipment was to use little wattage without sacrificing quality/yield. I'm a huge techy so the idea of buying new gadgets was exciting to me, growing is by no means something I am intending to make money on growing I moreso just want to be able to stop spending money at the local dispensaries, so this a hobby for me as well. Also it is nice when I go to the dentist and tell him there is no need to write me a pain killer prescription after having work done among other medical benefits.

All of my research pointed to LEDs being the most efficient so I started researching LEDs and found that many of them had huge claims but not very good reviews. I finally found Prosource and I thought they were cool because they not only had a claim but they showed me how they achieved these results and the tech info behind it. They also have videos of grows with their lights and a detailed instruction manual as LED growing is different than HID growing. For example the mistake many LED growers were making is keeping room temp at 75º and they weren't getting good results flowering Prosource put out a video showing that with LEDs the room temp needs to be 85º and they showed why. I think that is pretty cool, when they came out with this video I already had the light and they emailed it to me, that is great service if you ask me. Sorry I didn't mean to turn this into an endorsement for them but obviously I would highly recommend them to anyone else. They do have an affiliate program but no I am not a part of it simply a satisfied customer.

I don't know if it is maybe just the strain that helped me achieve these results or what but I intend to expand by strain variety soon as many clones/seeds are available around me. So I guess I'll see when I expand.
