Leaf damage? Dtw coco

When you have better circulation your dehumidifier does a much better job.

As far as rot, I don't even wanna think about it, lol. I still have post traumatic budrot disorder, from that one time I lost over 20 lbs.. And all the other times. I still see rot that isn't there sometimes. I don't mess around anymore though! I usually supercrop for as many tops as possible, to avoid having massive colas. Sometimes there is anyway, so I'll pull the buds away from the branches and open them up for better airflow. 20" BFFUs with MERV 13 or Filtrete 1500 allergen rated filters over every canopy, and shouldn't have to worry..

BTW, the sooner you put filters over the box fans, the more clean they will stay. Even the cheap lower rated filters are better than nothing. The bigger fan blades pickup dust a lot quicker than smaller fans, and will start getting off balance and make more noise. The filters, when on the back side, always keep the fan clean though, and will make it last way longer, even though its a little more restrictive. You practically never have to clean them with the filters attached..

Once you see how much filth they pickup out of the air, within like 2 months time, you'll never wanna run without the higher rated filters again. They get cruddy af. All that crap will eventually end up in your buds without the extra filtration, including PM and mold spores.. just waiting to germinate. The plant themselves act like the filter insdstead. With the BBFUs though, you constantly have turbulent near HEPA filtered air blowing at the canopy, and keeping the air particle\contaminate counts down to almost nothing.

I'm thinking about grabbing some of those nice looking black utilitech fans like you got, and integrating them right into the frames for the new 2x4'ish LED light fixtures I'm building. All black, to match the rest of the framing and aluminum bars will look sharp! Basically, using dual box fans screwed together into a longer panel. Use them AS the main frame itself, for the LED bars to attach too the underside. For my flower room anyway. My veg space is too short to waste even a few inches of height, and is setup more like a laminar flow cabinet, flowing from one side to the other.

Otherwise, top down fans with bar lights like you have setup are the way to go, IMO! It cycles the air down through the canopy and back faster than your exhaust fan can even extract it, which is a good thing to help pull out more even humidity from the tent, stead of the dry air just getting sucked right out the top and leaving humid microclimate pockets in parts of the canopy.

Awesome thanks for the tip I owe most credit to you lately which was at a much needed time. I wouldnt believe it at first when I first spotted pm that this would work but it is.

Il put the filters on asap Il just make one and swap them one at a time I know what you mean. Its awesome to hear it will almost need no cleaning music to my lazy ears. Im open to try anything Id be stupid not to at least try if your coming from a non handy work background.

Yea I really thinking I might monster crop I tried it once and tossed but grew it long enough. To know it will do what youre describing I just damn, like the air layering I might fail at it. It grows a cluster of those branches and Im barely getting better at the art of shaping the plant..

Growing from seed is harder because the lack of alternating nodes for that critical veg time, different base canopy. Clones grow awesome from the start easy to shape the plant into mid flower. Sucks I cant leave it at that I have to unlearn some of it as we are talking about, need a new approach.

So glad to hear its not just a solution but a spiffy one with maximum benefit. Maybe just a mild reveg and the same pruning you would do to regular clones but better. If they stay skinny and secondary bud structure like you say thats cool I just think Il have a lot of clustered middle growth shading out lowers.

Too much foliage even after taking so many leafs. Hard to picture being this newer grower. Any pics of some monster crops you got lets see them if you dont mind. I like to see growers work that have battled pm just learning how to grow that perfect canopy avoiding budrot and pm.

People are used to actual bud rot but that stuff will just happily germinate in a nice pocket or open wound I think I read. Then it will pop up where ever else it wants. Not to speak for others I just never seen it unfold like this, people say cut it out and finish.

I dont get these dew point blobs of slightly sappy water anymore. They used to pop up all over leaves and between the nugs of the tightest dominant growth. So I think this is helping with that obviously.

So yea need to get my game up. Fabric pots new dryback schedule and this air flow making them dry faster, new curve ball. Feed 4x a day I think 5-6x is in order. Whatever I decide to do the new fan setup like you describe is just really comfortable to grow nice yield as is.

I just need figure out how to get that lanky spaced nodes again those plants were budrot proof. I done had my guard down until 3rd run of 5 clones.

Ah shiet the one next to the fan is porto leche, I finally get some first whiffs! Ive waited months like 4 months as I tossed the last one but indeed was told to flower if youre unsure. It grows spades no pistol but here we are.

Aroma is tough to describe but indeed perfume like one said. Sage comes to mind mixed with vix vapor rub. Oooo lol something very new finally. And supposed to yield 20-25% flower rosin.

Plants keep falling over damnit I think due to being dried out and then unsecured. Becomes top heavy with fan blowing it over. Strapping them down! Not taking chances with my 3/3 so I did this. I think I can just tie the pot to the drainaway tray/cinderblock.

Flipped that clone I set aside. Its going to be big but lets see. Just managing perpetual its blurry but just think take a replacement cut a couple weeks after flipping. Idk just somehow get a cut if theres a cut that has enough foliage to clone it might line up to not have one.

Much easier when everythings lined up and whats making things harder is figuring out what strains to keep. Maybe because I always have moms few of them I should always have a cut of something and can toss a new strain into the mix while the MVP syncronizes to have those cuts available.

I really suck at this I done took a while figuring out how to perpetuate as basic as possible. Though things can happen and found the sonner you get clones flipped the better. It can take a month or two restarting that line up for no good reason really other than its very organized and monocropped.

Man Im getting closer to harvest though on the 3/3 right about mow is when the budrot hit. Though its much less humid and maybe the air flow will dry out the colas where most vulnerable. Ive grown fatter colas with no mold so Im optimistic.

Yea dryback cycle is dialed in not drying out between watering. Been had tons of runoff to correct the spot burns I had before same reason. Shaping up to be a nice harvest one of my latest favorites actually glad it looks rough. The flex is keeping it like this till chop which shows you must of been right if it stops.

Shell get pissy with me for a minute then hold tight if I did correct the issue. It looks bad but I didnt show full time line of damage it clearly haulted. Ive been through this with her a few times. Its why I keep growin her out! Predictable!

Was going to edit but turned out to be too much to edit so new post.

holy cow was updating from last week did that test like few days ago.. Its needing 6x a day feed vs 5. Maybe more soon idk but its obviously the excessive airflow. Just need to keep up with it. I have 5 gal buckets for each tent of 1-2 plants so its gonna be a pain.

It was breezy till now still might be. Just fill bucket in tub and dial in 1.7ec maxibloom and 2.5ml clorox did I just say clorox?! Yup if you didnt know clorox is fine for plants. PH at this ec dose makes a perfect PH so no ph adjusting its a perk. Plants just so happen to want 1.7ec.

I perpetuate new buckets just dump the pump and lid into the new fresh bucket of solution. Clean buckets time to time as needed.

Due to a rotting reservoir if you are planning a new grow setup dtw or any reservoirs have them in separate room than flower.

Warm temps are a mofo for reservoirs. My basement veg tent reservoir no issues 65F. Flower room 75-85F.
