It is back breaking work though. That's why I left a big open entrance space, and made an overhead lifting hatch for access into my new veg cabinet. So I can lay down halfway inside of it. Relax when training, or performing the intensive AL'ing "operations".

This could easily trigger that. Id need to take plant out of tent can only stand like that for a minute. Probably the most painful thing Ive ever had and debilitating its been a while since I had it too.

And if thats still too much I may just go back to old method. Baking soda or something better to spray or nothing at all. It only takes minutes this took all day. Not literally but kinda. I never thought it would be this hard I cant even finish Im tapping out and have garden stuff to still do.

Its a lotnfor a branch to hold which is a scary thing if it gets damaged it wont root so that will be for nothing. I keep trying to tell myself to man up and finish but just cant. Slapping some leds over them is probably the hardest part and Im pooped. Back is burning and it dont take much to happen.

Sometimes its simply from poor posture sometimes its the wrong movement of twisting and lifting or too much strain just like this. I literally cant move when it happens. I yell in pain every time I move. Ever since I gained weight from pills but much needed pills.

Searching says potassium bicarb will kill pm real well and not harmful to cuttings. Going to have to do that as this is just too much. Not how I imagined it. The copper clearly hurts the cuttings I just needed to not use that.

Aside from that all other suggestions followed are working wonders this one is just too hard for me kinda a cry baby some times but THIS… Holy cow just for some cuttings is wild.

I think the kongs krush and porto leche is a male dnt look like buds are forming but large sacs instead. There goes most my garden. Why clones are so much better. All fem seeds.

Quick search fem seeds may be more likely to herm but then again some say theyre good. Some say exotic are pollen chuckers make several new strains a year. ight have better luck with humbolt. Some people have bad luck with them too. Jeez just hermies everywhere, greenhouse seeds.

Was reading humbolt at least tries though. Maybe just about odds and improving them like reg seeds and breeder reputation. Doing little homework finding its a rabbit hole but not everyone gets hermie issues. My main strain is technically a herm but it grows flower to where the male parts and nanners are tough to find not the other way around.

These look very unusual. About to grow huge melon sacs out the nodes looks like. Short stubby stack-less colas its weird. 2 of 5 seeds from exotic. 1 of 2 seeds green house. 1 seed of two strains from th seeds being fine. A full blown male of lemon bubble idk what breeder. All fem seeds never tried regs.

From what I gather its important to follow the crosses basically do a lot of homework. Finding just A strain is tough task for me while others cant stand growing the same thing and grow just fine rarely hermies if ever. For me mothering a strain is a must. Whats weird is a cut can indeed outgrow those traits or at least become seedless but not this bad with no clear cause.

My main strain will grow a male sac on a node if you do some thing drastic otherwise just a nanner or two in a 7-8oz plant. No seeds. Making seedless weed is off the table but I cant really share or grow for others anyway as you can tell. I done made this section my new home instead of having fun in journal or show off your plants threads.

I got a hermie problem too I guess. These are some strange plants.

2.5 wks into flower. Its my what I call third shift tent. Its light off when Im awake and lights off when I sleep. So I strugggle to tend to it and just go off memory and picture worse than it is but its still weird. Its third shift so the flower room can stay under 15amps.

Maybe these will still flower but its hard to describe, when you lool at 2.5 wk flower growth tips they shouldnt look like this. Like melons about to pop out of the buds with leafs. I would wonder if it will get better like my watermelon ultra or just be to much a shit show to mother. Sounds like the latter is about to happen and may have to actually toss these.

The kongs krush was force flowered a bit so its a bit behind but ya. I have replacement clones to decide to toss too. This why I love my mini tent I may be able to still use if I put a fan over top of it to blow through bar lights. My most comfortable setup. As these grow theyre getting hard to circulate the furthest plant which was the other way around at first.

Im thinking toss and just make note that if to find that keeper do the whole pack at once. 100$ pack though ugh 120 with tax/shipping. People say they get fire keepers from EG and EG rose up this far for a reason. Im not normally a hermie hater a little hermie isnt bad for a hash maker like me. My main strain is a herm. I was excited for this one.

Man as I really look at them they might be fine and am just trippin which would be awesome but the growth tips on the PL is not right. Nor the KK the pics dont show well and didnt bother showing the tiny sacs I saw on the Kk. I kinda had this with the watermelon ultra when I pruned the hell out of it.

It still was seedless though! Shit shit shit trippin out idk what to do. Let it ride!

Looks like very sativa leaning phenotypes. Some long flowering plants takes forever to start developing properly in flower. I'm experimenting with shorter light cycles this round to mitigate long internodes and shorten flower.

I think it's the best approach for long forever flowering plants with subpar bud structure or excess vegetative growth in flower. I do 12/12 in veg onward and looking forward to try 6/18 in flower.

Week 5 just started so 4 wks complete of 10. Runoff test 2.09ec in and 2.18ec out because lots of runoff. I try to aim for 1.75-1.85ec I just keep over doing it. Was doing 5x a day fed was looking better than this but wasnt passing 1.85ec really unlike this time. Now I do 4x a day so may have to go back up to 5x a day.

To get thw growth I was last getting but now I do bigger rootballs fabric pots vs rootbound plastic moving forward. Also using huge canopy fans makes it dryback real fast while the plant also uptakes and dries due to that too. I think the fans do indeed make them uptake differently or could be what was said already.

I dont let her grow leafs haha screw PM Im always defolling until it stops growing leafs.Ive had these exact burns further back on this thread from too high ec runoff but as I said theres no spike. Just the high ec going in slightly. Weird how things change with some tweaks or neglect.

Smells real good but its leaking out the tent no coincidence the only tent with filter outside the tent. I smell up close it kinda smells a little so the room smells a little. It dont do that in my dry tent but its on low setting so idk. I did read one say they need certain cfm fans at certain dialed in setting for best performence of carbon filter.

Lookin good. Has these spots where flower sites the white hairs turn red too quick and looks stunted like it wont produce much if anything there. Maybe wind burn idk. I didnt put fan on timer yet I need to buy other things for the next month. Maybe a test see what happens but the 3/3 on timer has a nice feel to it taking quick breaks, must be great for the plant.

Also keep getting raunchy leafs on this one not sure whats goin on Ive seen it before I think. Some pest damage looks like from veg tent down stairs. Ear wigs eat leafs? I know they like soft plant tissue like flowers but idk about cannabis. 3 weeks and 1 day complete of 10.

Yea was trippin these were just fine just hermies. Opened tent to find the right one on the ground with huge puddle of water. It fell over. Pruned. Super crop broke a branch so tied it. Chuggin along. These arent standing the best due to being in previous mishaped pots so not really a solid rootball.

Im hash only so were in business! Its probably not much more less a herm than my current strain I value the most. Might value the porto leche just as much if it performs in hash like it did someone here on RIU.

Thatll tell me what happens if you pop a new pheno, can hash yield be much lower or higher or the same almost? Depends how stable the hash trait is I guess. IBL or not etc idk much about breeding. Not even tempted to pollen chuck. I just want to grow and have my usage bills paid I dont have time or space for that anyway.

Actually now I think about it I might some day buy a male and female to make seeds to save a strain if they quit making it. To make a cross idk Id have to be really curious how two would do but sounds fun. AFAIK if you mother it itll keep performing for a while.

Gonna try I think its 12hrs on 5.5hrs off 1hr on 5.5hrs off then repeat aka gas latern something got to check back. To save basically half the cost of veg light schedule the one hr disruption just keeps them in veg. Then put the flower room on 9/15 on/off to save even more.

Let me know thoughts on that I know one had a comment on lighting for sativa phenos. Starting to look into that as Ive always been 12/12. Having box fans on timers would save 8 hrs a day not running which would help a lot. The box fans 55w so I figured its like 1/3rd that or 2/3rds having 3 settings as I have them on 1st or 2nd setting, kinda doing both. Depends on tent.

I said frick it and opened one air layer site up and no signs of rooting after 7 days. With hormone. Its not the job but the fact Id do it every 10 weeks and just nerve racking. I know these were too cold 65f but damn I couldnt even get the lights on it. to heat it.

Maybe if I moved it out the tent and tied the stems to a main stem so it dont need to be hooked/hanged from ceiling support. It would be super heavy wobbly might even bend over somewhere or more than one place. If the branch below the AL site gets damaged it wont root.

Maybe if there was a sign it was working on rooting but just seemed like a weak grip. Idk its just not working for me but I tried. It should of atleast swole up grow knuckles but nope nothing.

Ahh would you go and snip all the tops or are these small enough not to mold?! I grew lankier spacing whoch I am tryung to do but this fattened a bit still. Does air circulation like I added and 45rh help keep botrytus at bay too? Screw botritus its so traumatizing I flinch when I see nugs like these or fatter. Not as fat as last run but still tight spacing on tops fughh I hate that.

The pot is suuuper light weight like its bone dry but not light brown in the pot. Hard to see all wrapped up in pot and panty but the very outer edge of rootball on the top its dry light brown but just the edge. Never dealt with dry back like this I bet its why shes getting pissy with me.

And again.. The colas are they fat enough to mold.. I looked again hell yes it could sonI hope the fans help with that too. Just keeps knotting up at the tip of cola damnit!!! Idk she just keeps growin like that after 12 clones shes like over a year old. Happy birthday!
