His old man made most of his fortune building goverment housing projects for soldiers and their families returning from the war, I guess he figured out how to charge more than construction costs, and kept the difference for himself, while never actually breaking any laws. The bastard even had to testify in front of Congress about it when it became known that he basically ripped the government off.

He is not worse or better than a different selfish evil fuck. Maybe stronger and weaker bad people would be a better description.

"What's normal?" Do you have to ask? How about if we look at Trump's behavior?

What's normal is not excluding black people from rental properties and escalating the issue with lawsuits and taking the fight to the media, knowing that the justice department's hands are tied in a public forum. Then settling with a fine and then claiming he won.

What's normal is not arbitrarily and illegally disrupting the lives of muslim people from all over the world who all of a sudden were prevented from coming home or having their visas cancelled after years of waiting and thousands of dollars spent.

Dude, we are talking about Trump. Not normal people.

He tried to. He wanted to quantify what I said to support his position. But comparing the subject to other lawless people is meaningless. Unless I want to jump on the trump hating bandwagon. I'm not a bandwagon person. I'm not even sure what a bandwagon is now that I wrote it.

It has always been this corrupt. The media is more prevalent now and alerting everyone to the facts and myths more than ever.

You say that by talking about him, he will be around longer. If that's true then the opposite is also true.

If the opposite is not true than what you said is not true.

Conservatives cut spending and resources to education. They even deny scientific facts. The media is pretty good at presenting the facts of the day if you are a critical reader.

On this we might agree: That education isn't now teaching critical reading to the necessary extent.

Of course I didn't vote for trump. I couldn't even watch his reality show.

I do not agree with your opposite is true theory in this case. I do not agree with your inversion of my statement at all.

It's not true because they have campaign managers that will put them back in the spotlight anyway. It's not up to us if they go away. But it youre doing keeping them popular. Every time it is brought up they still win.

I don't think education taught me critical reading. Just how to read. I learned to pursue education on my own. It's a more you read the more you can understand and people are lazier about it now.

So yes I fully agree about education but I also know the ratio of people learning more will not likely go up.

And about conservatives. People in general do not learn the issues well enough to know what our electing and elected officials are up to.

So I blame the individual responsible not a whole group lumped together. They don't know and they won't know next time either.

And there are guilty elected democrats too.

From what you say, if I don't talk about Trump, his handlers can pump him up. If I talk about Trump, I validate him even if it's negative. You are basically saying that Trump wins regardless. If so, then what I do is not important. So, I'll continue to bash Trump.

Not accepting equal guilt for Democrats. Democrats support more funding for education and support science as a means of forming policy.

It is naive to claim Democrats are the same as Republicans.
