There was a massive tomcat, on surveillance footage, at the feed trough on Jan 4th and Clyde was missing ever since. Thought he was a goner, but he showed up yesterday about 4lb lighter. Lots of hugs and gravy on dry food celebrated his return. He's been seen perched on the metal handrail at the back door, begging for more.

We just found out that he's a Norwegian forest cat. Close relation to the Maine coon, but he won't wind up looking like Ron Pearlman. He's going to keep his fluffy collar, and his mews sound like little bird chips.
He loves the garden. I always blow my smoke away from him, but he runs to it. Soon as he hears the flick of the Bic he's popping his head around the corner. Works better than meow mix.
