If he had stuck with criticizing Zionism and the nation-state of Israel I wouldn't have had an issue. The fact that he started in by making generalizations about Jewish people and criticizing Jewish people is what prompted the backlash. Usually after that, they just go and say, "you call anyone who criticizes Israel an antisemite", which is the more common stupid response. This guy actually doubled down and insisted on defending his bigoted statements against all Jews. By pointing out that Christians can also be Zionist (which is true), he only proves that his views are incoherent because he is admitting that Zionism is not synonymous with Judaism. I even went easy on the guy, gave him a pass, a chance to back out and say something like "yeah, sorry for the mistake, I meant Zionists, not Jews". He just hates Jewish people.

There goes that negative correlation between bigotry and cognitive function again...

You know, Trump was a pretty good president before he got sworn in. So, you can just claim how great he is because he didn't become a bad president until later.

I don't hate Jews. Some of my best friends in school (private catholic schools) were Jews. I don't give a flyin fk about anyone's religious beliefs and ill fight for them to have the right to any belief that doesn't hurt others. Ill even support your right to call me what you like on social media. Freedom of speech is paramount. Anyone who has read my many, many, many political posts knows I'm not anti much at all.

I just disagree with what the Jewish state is doing. You would think that being persecuted in much the same way by the Nazis they would act differently to them. Which is why I used that as a comparison. I could of used the white American treatment of the indigenous people but the tables have not turned for them. I could of used the near genocide of the Tasmanian Aboriginal by the English. (they failed by one pregnant lady. Older History says Truganiny was the last- she wasn't thank god and modern historians have proven she wasn't. But again, the tables have not turned.

You can turn your blind eye away from the facts all you like. Amazing that America is the only western county supporting this, and I'm guessing those of you calling me "Jew hater" are American. I hope your proud of your country's support and continue to heckle and slander those of us who are not scared to speak out..

You know, the tone of this post is better and if you stick with this, you'll be much more useful to the activism you seem to want to espouse. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt and say maybe you just chose your words poorly before because ignorance is forgivable if you grow out of it. I will simply suggest you go back and reread our exchange and see where I am coming from, if you want me to see where you're coming from. You did make offensive statements. Also, I do believe you'd like to be mature and rebuke hatred. The truth is, most of us have some culturally ingrained ignorance until we self-crit. You can either dig your heels in and become a troll like Marwan or you can make friends, it's really up to you.
