Thanks for taking the time Bro.

You have been in my thoughts. I hope that the move is
proceeding apace and that the recent event is blowing over
as smoothly as possible.

Take care,

JD

Well, I appreciate the good word.

Well, I think that a great start is to find someone near you
who is making mushroom blocks.

Whether or not these fruit, you can use them in the garden.

The Comfrey is growing in the photo between the two 4X4s.

I tiled spent and contaminated mushroom blocks on the ground,
and then spread soil over them. The arrangement is excellent
at retaining water. I got flushes of both G. purpuratus and Pioppinos,
though I noticed them late. Oh yeah, and one really cool Maitake too.

Here are some Pleurotis erinyes, the King Oyster:

The caps got a bit wet at first. I backed off the cycle.

LOL, those are pins, small fruits.

When they get big, they will look much different.

I will post more appetizing looking fruits in time,
but, really, many of them look kinda crazy.

I grew these Nameko, but they bust up out of a slime cap!

...but then they look prrretty normal later:

The slime disappears immediately when you cook them.

They are pretty good, though not my favorite.

Beautiful toadstools! Have you ever been on the fungiperfecti site? Those cell walls also contain chitin too, if I'm not mistaken. Doing some serious growing.

Thanks all.

Yes, FP is Paul Stamet' site. It is basically the Gold Standard
for Fungi related sites.

I intend to offer medicinal mushrooms to the public, and will likely
emulate Paul's site, though Trust is key and I will not worry about
lagging behind him. He has earned his place. :0)

Worm, the slime is part of the species. Weird huh?

P.S. I am totally rushing the Sour Kosher smoke, as it only has
a couple days in the jar....it is SO GOOD. Very strong, and sticky
beyond belief. This will be a keeper until it is bumped by something
better.

Just a couple shots, taken yesterday but not uploaded.

Trainwreck #1 is just turning out very lovely. I noticed one
of the Moms stinking in Veg, and it was this breed. Good sign!

Java have you done any other Reserva Privada or DNA genetics besides Sour Kosher and LA con? Sour Diesel, OG Kush, and Silver kush are all absolute fire... Silver Kush is probably my all time favorite but it yields pretty low

LOL, I seem to have focused on them, along with BB and TGA.

(the tea dudes are always making me wonder about bodhi and Gage tho... ;0)

I liked the OG Kush and OG #18 very much, but I did not get clones, stupidly.

I am doing a better job, really vegging the ladies, and so am finding more
of a window in which to take viable clones.

I see that both my Martian Kush, vegging in a hempy, finally, and the
Holy Grail Kush, are DNA too. I have very high expectations of the HGK.

You will like the Blue pit.. i had 2 phenos.. Both were very dank.. 1 was like blueberry tasting with hints of headband, had some purple leaves and some of the buds had coloration to it. They both branched out quite a bit and neither needed support... The second pheno was like a cheese diesel. They don't stretch much either... maybe 50% stretch... while Super Lemon Haze or such would be like 200% stretch.

Got a bunch of DNA/RP lined up for next fall.. OG #18, Silver Kush, Sour Diesel, Skywalker OG Kush, Chocolope, and Kosher Tangie.

Some other strains I think you ought to check out:
Cream of Crop Purple Paralysis, G13 Pineapple Express, Sensi Super Skunk, Female Seeds Skunk Special and C99.

Purple Paralysis and Pineapple Express are supposedly very good commercial strains if you are concerned about yield at all.. the quality is very good too from what I hear.... Purple paralysis is same genetics as Cotton Candy

C99, Silver Kush, Sour Diesel, and Lemon OG Kush have been my favorites so far. C99 is like pina colada. Lemon OG kush tastes just like it sounds... amazing.

Thanks for taking the time BG.

I have not tried to get any of the classic, by seed, as there is
no way to tell whether what I am getting is really anything like
the original. C99 is an example. ...but I will think about it.

FWIW: I will not be adjusting my settings, and will return to
the 600 Club when the website is fixed.

Onward and upward,
