Spliff Chris you have no better input than your a retard really? You are not helping the other side of this debate at all. Stupid responses like that do nothing but further pull two sides apart.
Sorry man... was a bit rude there and quite stoned... but saying stuff like "the only option is war" is slightly retarded... just my opinion

I'll take your misreading as just that. I think war is bad under any circumstances and when you said israels borders have a lot to do with it, I thought that's what you meant. I apologize if I misinterpreted what you were saying. As for Iraq and Egypt what should they have done? In the case of Iraq let's say your neighbor said to you, I hate you I think your evil and should be wiped out, oh and by the way I just got some SCUD missiles that can do just that, and they are aimed at you. What would you do? And talking really isn't an option when all they want is you dead. Do you see what I'm getting at? I'm not trying to be hawkish I'm just seeing the reality of the area. Most who have never been there really can't. This is not America and Canada here this is a whole other kind of conflict.

I didn't misread, maybe you miswrote,- I'm guessing it was a miscomunication
now check out this quote and think about it from a different angle
.

In the case of Iran let's say your neighbor and another country with a massive military said to you, I hate you I think your evil and should be wiped out, oh and by the way we have a whole bunch of Nuclear missiles as well as conventional weapons that can do just that, and they are aimed at you. This other country has already invaded a country that borders yours and numerous other countries killing citizens and the countrys leaders. They have also invaded your countries airspace and possibly sabotaged your countries infastructure- oil pipelines military instalations etc, and they are now enforcing trade blockades meant to prevent your country and it's buisness from importing or exporting. What would you do?

Anyone remember after WWII when we considered all the German people to be guilty because they were complicit?
Had them digging holes and carrying and burying bodys

I did write that poorly. Thank you for the correction sir. I'm really not trying to fight I'm trying to argue a point. Is it sad that you guys are more interesting than my real world aquaintancess? And I agree the problem goes both ways. Hate along these lines, of wich I myself am guilty, is not going to ever be solved.its not a talk it out kind of issue. I have family in Israel young family, and my brother and his brood. If this continues its going to erupt, and so many innocents on both sides are going to die, I don't want this war. As an American I don't want this war. as a human I don't want it but it is coming. We can discuss the faults of our system all day but it won't fix it for what is already started. I'm just trying too look through the haze and idealism and look at what we are on the doorstep of.

Huh? Imo that's not quite the same. A little bit of an exaggeration.

its not a talk it out kind of issue. I don't want this war, but it is coming.

If this is correct,
Better kill them all and take all of their stuff to be split up among the victors as spoils of war, and take all those we do not kill as slaves and work their asses off to our benefit.
Yes it is wrong but they might do it to us so we might as well do it and ensure our victory
I believe it will happen but I would like it to benefit those who fight and win rather than the few elite who will benefit.
It is wrong and I would like to see peace but I'm afraid it wont happen.
If we are going to fight I would like the reasons to be truthful and the benefits tangible -IE- were going to invade Iran and take their oil and make them slaves so that you and generations to come can have gas for 99 cents a gallon and work very little and have nice homes and retire early.
Not some B.S. about- were going to liberate Iran and spread democracy and freedom, while we bomb the shit out of them and the big companies and elite get rich off it and our soldiers get killed and those who live come home to endless debt and an ever decreacing standard of living due to the costs of the war.

Anyone else LOVING the notion of the US and UK telling Iran that blocking the oil would be illegal? like we have the right to preach about illegal actions :D Personally i would love to see an aircraft carrier or such sunk, teach us that we don't rule the world however much we'd like to think we do.

So when we do it it's called sanctions right, but if Iran does it it's an act of war?

I'm simply talking about the fact that we will goto war regardless of the legality of it, yet the moment someone else threatens something there are cries of oh, it's illegal, we can't let you do that. We need to be taught a lesson HARD.

U.S. sailors from a carrier strike group whose recent presence in the Persian Gulf drew the ire of Iranian military officials have rescued 13 of the Middle Eastern country's sailors from a hijacked fishing boat, a military spokesman said Friday. The destroyer USS Kidd came to the aid of the ship Thursday in the North Arabian sea, near the crucial Strait of Hormuz, according to the Navy.
The rescue prompted the captain of the freed ship to offer his "sincere gratitude," according to Josh Schminky, a Navy Criminal Investigative Service agent aboard the Kidd. "He was afraid that without our help, they could have been there for months," said Schminky. The rescue Thursday came two days after Iran said the United States should not send any more warships into the Persian Gulf.

I saw this to, hope it helps the situation, I think we should have played this real publicly to try to open talks between the US and Iran and to end tensions

Maybe you need to rethink that statement.
No, i'm happy with it as it is thanks. Our countries are in my mind the largest terrorist organisations on the planet. we couldn't give a fuck about human life so long as it's not our own. Just look at libya, the UK went in under the pretence of a no-fly zone, and within no time we were bombing children and women to death in their sleep.

I agree with you. If we are fighting we should just come out and say it. We are not the UN we should not be in the buissness of nation building especially when ours is in such dire straights.

So you're answer to the loss of human life is to wish for more loss of human life. Interesting logic.

From a country that fabricated a lie to invade Iraq and kill off a few hundred thousand civilians and bombed it to dust. I'm not fussed how flawed the logic is, we'd deserve anything we get and i wouldn't shed a tear :) reap what you sow.
