Hello guys, i seem to be experiencing yellowing leaves after my first dose of nuts in flowering.
I have bloom builder by Schultz, which is a 5-30-5, the only thing my local home depot had on hand. Is this yellowing caused by this?? or is it a lack of N in my solution? I am on week one in the flowering cycle. Temps have been up and down, 90-86. Soil is a Schultz potting mix with organic peat moss. Water Ph i have no idea last time i checked it was somewhere around 6- 6.2, hard to match the colour with the test kit.
Any help is really appreciated and i will give rep if need be! I have looked through some threads but nothing is really describing lower mature leaves turning yellow!

pics below Of 2 out of the 3 plants i have.

i had the same problem, you need high N for veg.. I went to Vigaro 28-8-16 ( which I got at the borg) and supplemented with mollasses. It straightened everything out quick.

Even with cfl's heat is an issue, I dumpped my reflectors and it made a big difference. I have read a lot of bs about the reason not to line a grow box with foil, about uneven light refraction,my ass, I wont use it again because of the heat retention in the box. My plants were getting droopy and I was sweating because I thought they were rootbound. I gave them a flush with ph'ed water and I'm back on track, they responded in one day. Woo Hoo!

Your shit looks great, I wish I would have doccumented my grow better. Take pics every time you notice a change in your grow, you will never regret it. Good show nice job.

Well checking out the yellowing today on some leaves i came across my lil runt who was showing small little balls, upon further inspection it was identified as a male! so now i have 2 out of 3 fem's. I was getting worried about it, seeing as i wouldnt really have space for three, and built the box guessing one would turn male. Prepare for the worst i guess. Anways, day 37-38 today! 1 week into flowering they should sex!! now to focus on this yellowing issue, i'll post sum pics later of the two girls, who i have named molly and bigz!

yeah! I shot you a reply as fast as I could, lol. From what I understand, and I have seen with my plants, as the soil gets depleted of Nitrogen, the fan leafs use there stores of elements and turn yellow and fall off. I lost all my lower fan leaves this way, and believe me I was sweating bullets. but my plants look better than ever and the buds are bulking up, woo hoo!! Starting to get tricomes. I didnt know that when I fimmed them it would extend my grow time, but I'm just learning so I gave myself a pass. So I guess when the fan leafs start to yellow it means victory is near.

try to flush them a little, just plain ph'ed water, unless of course they have recently been freshly watered

I have two plants in flower, the aurora, which is the better plant, started looking wilted and I didn't know if it was rootbound, or overwatered or what. I took a gamble and flushed with 5 gals of ph'ed water, the last gal of which I added molasses. a day an a half later the mofo was back better than ever. I don't know if this helps you but it worked for me. Also whenever I get a chance I leave open the cab doors open when the lights are on.

Hey boys, before i transplant im going to try and flush with some neutral ph water, incase the problem is due to a nute lockout or something relating to nutience,

Chicken the aurora you are growing you say had a smiliar wilting problem and a simple flush seemed to be the cure?? i will go this route. Thanks for the tips dudes!

no problem, let us know if it helps.
about 2 weeks ago thats what my plant did, looked wilted like a mofo. I'm growing in a 3 gal bucket and my aurora is 2 ft tall. Im using that alaska more grow stuff for flower. the guy at the hydro store said it would be great for cfl buds, as long as you do a complete flush at the finish. I wonder if the miricle grow shit i was using for veg shitted up the soil. Anyway i've almost killed my plant about 10 times. The aurora is a very forgiving plant. Keep ur growbox cool and let us know whats happening.
