Hey, Sparky,
I saw your post and question to me, on my profile today.
Man, I don;t have any snakes, but I do have lizzards, two orange leopard geckos and two bearded dragons.
Regarding your question on my profile, go to
www.stealthhydro.com and look at the video on the front page, of the bubbleponics system. I can walk you through duplicating it with a 5 gallon bucket, grow cups, hydroton rocks, rockwool, air stones, an air pump and a water pump, IF you are ready to spend about $65 US money. I'll visit back here soon, to see if you have any more questions for me.
Good Luck,
yea i jus av a snake, shud be gettin a bearded dragon soon if th girlfriend lets me....im gettin 1 trust me...lol
chekd out the site thanks for dat....i alredy have a few fans, rockwool, pete pellets/slabs w.e,clay pellets and a 5 gallon tub....i could steal my fishs air pupmp bt dats jus cruel i wil just buy 1....lol

Bro, you are doing such a renegade hillybilly grow, it's hard to advise you. it's like trying to tell you how to survive on the moon, while I have never been there. PLUS, your shorthand, or abbreviated words or whatever it is called is difficult to read for me.
A water pump is for what is called BUBBLEPONICS or to create a DRIP system. It is to pump water and nutes to the cube.
I get multiple stalks by planting twice as many seeds as I need, and discard the runts and keep the ones that look healthier and bushier. THEN, I pinch the top half inch off the plant at 2, 3 and 4 weeks. And I use as many side lights as I do top lights. The pic you are referring to, is my best bush ever, 13 major stalks, all with a cola at the end. gave me 7 and half well- manicured dried ounces of buds.
what kind of lights are you using and how do you plan on growing it more?

You can expect that plant to shoot up tall, and fall over. Your plant is going to STRETCH toward the light, wanting but not getting enough light. Get a cardboard tube, like on toilet paper or a paper towel, and use it for support until it strenghtens.
i have shortened the bottle covering my plant so the light is about 1-1/2" away...if she continues to stretch i will defo do what you reccomend...thanks

i thought cotton my inhibit oxygen to the roots at 1st but its turns out i did the right thing...when i transplanted her to a pete pellet she had an excellent root system and i didnt have to wet the cotton after the 1st time....looks like i have discovered a new way to germinate....go me...lol

the idea of the ghetto grow is money is tighter than a rats butthole at the moment and why pay through the nose when you can make a set-up that works just as good for a fraction of the price!?!?!so basically bubbleponics is the same as deep water culture but with a drip feed system?
+rep for that amazing grow...i may just try that 1 day.

i have just bought 1kg of miracle grow all purpose soluble plant food....the npk is 24-8-16...is this any good and when can i start using it.
this is only temporary to give my plant a good start till i can afford better nutes.
i have found a 10,000k and 20,000k hps(i think,cant remember...lol) on ebay is this better than 5-7,000k bulb?

you could set it aside for a mother plant, someone on here was talking about propagating in soil and then moving to bubbleponics w/ grow wool, but i dunno if i'd risk the root damage. give the mg to a friend or plant a (rooted) future mother clone in it.

but thats just what i would do. bud grown in soil is almost starting to be a thing of the past.

i've never been a fan of using cardboard boxes as cabs. i have an interesting method of my own. i take 4 of the large 36 gallon latching rubber tote bins and stack them on top of each other in a column. i glue the outside of the top 3 with non toxic epoxy caulk to the lid of the one under it. then i take unsnap the lids and cut out any material from the tops and bottoms of the tubs so that when snapped together, a plant can grow through the middle of the column. make sure that you dont cut the top of the top box or the bottom of the bottom box. i usually leave the top of the bottom lid intact and cut 5 holes (6-8"diameter) and place netpots in them and create a DWC system in the lowest tub. in the last cab i had like this, i had 2X200w equiv. clfs hanging from the top and 4x85w equiv cfls hanging in the corners halfway up the plant to provide light to the foilage. in order to cool the box i ended up cutting a 10" hole in the top box's lid and layed a stripped-down house fan atop it to pull
out hot air. the whole setup cost me about 150-200 dollars.

even though the cops found it, they couldnt charge me with anything because the way i had it setup, it looked like a stack of plastic tubs, and there was no reasonable cause to search. suckers.

feel free to message me if you want more info about this setup.

they did find it. and looked in it. and took my plants. but they just couldnt charge me. they had performed an illegal search and siezure.

check out bulbs.com. they have every kind of bulb you could want, for cheap. they have CFLs there that are 800w equivalent for around 100-150$. just make sure you get cool color temp for vegetative and warm color temp for flowering. you could also pick up a reptile UV light for 5-10$ for the flowering period as an extra light. some say the reptile lights step up resin production.
