I'd love to go with some serious seeds strains. I am also a huge fan of Sensi Seeds. Their Jack Herer is my favorite all time smoke.

Any experience with Barney's Farm seeds? I keep seeing strains from them that would work for me. Like LSD and Vanilla Kush.
My experience with Barneys Farm was not good so I personally cannot recommend them.

What was bad about them? Was it the shipping service, quality of seeds, or quality of strain that you had a problem with?

A friend ordered 5 feminized night shades and gave me a bean. I never found out how his turned out but mine was of very poor genetics. Maybe a bad pheno? Even 10 years ago when I was ordering a lot of beans through Nirvana, I never had a plant this crappy. I still have the product and can post a pic if you'd like. I took 3 cuttings and of course all were garbage. I chopped the donor plant 20 days early because I could tell it was terrible but the smoke was ok according to a friend of mine. He encouraged me to grow out the clones and take them a full 60 or so. I did and they were still garbage. Just my experience. If I'm buying genetics these days, I wont skimp anymore.

that is why as much as i love super lemon haze i would stay away from Green house seeds and barneys farm. dont waste your money buying cheap strains/ or buying unreliable breeders selling an arm and a leg at the end of the day you are saving more money. but if youd like god cheap genetics ill recommend seedsman seeds, ans also stay away from dinafem both of my blueberry widow are garbage, the royal haze is doing fine though

I found that Nirvana's Pure Power Plant to be an ideal beginers plant. Good quality smoke, good yeild, easy to grow. Also easy to clone. I had several phenos show, but not a whole lot of difference between them. Just choose the hardiest plant for a mother.

The high seems to be a cross between sativa and indica type highs. of 7 plants I harvested around 2 lbs. cured. Grown Indoors in soil using organic nutes, under (4) 400 watt lamps.

The PPP is my staple and my bread and butter plant.

The seeds had a 70 % germination rate, feminized seeds.

Other sugestions are c99 or one of the c99 hybrids. C99 is a sativa with a very short flower period ( 45 days !) I am growing some right now with about a week until I start harvesting. I found that it also is an easy to grow variety that clones without any problems. The only negitive is that they have very spindely stems that can break under the weight of the colas. Supercropping and tieing the girls cures that problem pretty effectively. They are also about the thirstiest plant I have ever grown. Seem to go through water twice as fast as my other plants. Cant give a smoke report yet as I haven't harvested any yet.

White Widow from Nirvana is also a good starter plant. The high is not as "couch lock" as one would expect out of a Indica dominant cross strain. The only negitive I could find is the successability to over fertalizing. They seem to like a minumum of nutes to stay happy. Also an easily cloned plant. Grows quickly both in veg and flower. Out of 6 plants I got about 1 3/4 lbs of cured bud. They also benifit from fimming or topping to branch out the nodes. Good strong stems so I didn't need to bind them or anything. I put them into flower when they where around 15 inches in height and they where around 4 ft. upon harvest.

I hope this helps. Good luck on your grow

Thanks man. I read about c99 and PPP before. c99 sounds great. PPP i hear isnt the strongest. WW is on my list of plants i'd like to grow someday, but for this grow, i can only pick one.

After much research, reading grow journals, reading smoke reports, etc, i think i have my decision made up. I'm about 99% sure, but i gotta wait till payday.

The strain i'm probably going with:
Barney's Farm: L.S.D. (Skunk#1 X Mazar)

That does help. Thats pretty much what i hear, that they are nutrient hogs. I have been working on brewing organic tea recipes over the last few years, and i got a high N formula that ALL of my plants just love. (you should have seen my tomatoes this summer!) There's no real secret to it, bat poop and worm poop, in water with Molasses, with an airstone running. I add high P bat poop for flowering. I'm looking forward to this grow!

Shit, shit, SHIT!!! Fuck it all!!! I gotta put off growing now. I just had an "incident"

I wasnt planning on growing herb when i set up my indoor vegetable grow. I have a tiny house, and there are few places that can't be seen from the front window. So i set up my 2 foot 4 bulb T5 in my kitchen, which can be seen from the street, if my curtains are open. A friend of mine just left my house, and noticed a Sheriff sitting out in front of my house. I dont know how long he was there before we noticed him, but he was there for about a half hour after we noticed him. He was sitting in the exact right angle to get a good view of the T5's. Though you can see the lights from the streets, the plants are probably too far away to tell that they are just veggies. As soon as my girlfriend turned off the T5 lights, he pulled away. Like 30 seconds later. Then, he sat at the end of the block with his lights off, about 50 feet up the road, for another 30 minutes.

So, it's pretty obvious that i'm being watched, and possibly suspected of growing illegal plants. I am not growing anything illegal (yet) but i do have herb and paraphernalia that i dont want them stealing, if they get a bullshit warrant.

It's not illegal to have a grow light, nor is it illegal to grow veggies or herbs indoors. Put that shiz in your front window so the officer can see you're not growing something illegal. You have nothing to hide.

go with kushberry, big yielder and the most amazing and strongest berry dank out there.not much variation in the pheno type.
Kushberry is some awesome smoke. Raiderman did u do a journal for the kushberry? I grew it but it wasn't happy with my conditions, but the smoke was amazing. Rock hard nugs. Just not enough of em.

I concur....put them right in the window where he can see they are not pot....do it for a week then move it and get your grow on....
