Supply and demand of what? man created climate change? As I said, the pipeline will do little for us as citizens. We have the right to insist that our need for energy be tempered with safety.
LOL!!! You are such a government tool..

By law, Oil Development Companies can only vent so much natural gas to order to recover oil from a well, In the 80's western ND skies would glow Orange
from all the natural gas being burned to recover oil. In some cases the wells are better suited as gas development instead of oil. The state was forced close many wells because they would vent and burn 10 times as much gas for just a barrel of oil. (talk about pissed off field reps.!)
Natural gas flares!! The largest city in the Bakken area has a Population of 16,000 (Williston)

Explain why that is my duty and I will transfer funds.
Because I am a poor disadvantaged black child and as you have stated your duty is to your country and the planet.

Since you obviously have more than me you must do your duty and send me a portion of your wealth to make things fair...

You are the one who clearly stated you have a duty to me...

I am really sure there is nothing racist implied in that

There are a few issues with natural gas but they are far more solveable than using any other petro energy source. Burning Natgas yields half the carbon footprint of oil. But natgas itself is a far more potent greenhouse gas than co2. We can reduce leaks and the results of fracking because they are not inherent in the process like burning fossil fuels. Still, it is nasty stuff.

Where I live we have had the most hot and humid weather in history. If this is the harbinger of things to come, if this drought is helped along by global warming - and many believe it is, then the only satisfaction at all will be "I told you so". This sort of weather is fucking miserable, it has all but ruined my tomatoes, it requires more air conditioning, which in turn creates more co2 which in turn worsens the problem. I assure you, unless we can change our ways in short order, many of you nay sayers will be very very sorry you obstructed and obfuscated for so long.
Methane has an atmospheric half-life of about eight years. Its potency as a greenhouse gas is somewhat balanced by its brief persistence, compared to CO2 and CFCs. cn

No, what I am going to say is that it fits perfectly into the proven heating and cooling graph of the earth over millions of years.

I like it warm, we are headed for an ice age lasting thousands of years. I am really glad I was alive right now...

And BTW *Occam's* razor says you are an idiot...

Yeah, I am an idiot because I don't let my ideology control my perceptions. I am an idiot because I inspect scientific evidence and come to the same conclusion tens of thousands of learned men. I am an idiot because I follow the money trail and find that there are trillions of dollars in the status quo that wants me to believe that there just is no such thing as global warming, and if there is, then man didn't cause it, and if he did, then we can't do anything about it, and if we can, it just costs too damn much money.

of course, you have little to back up your assertions beyond calling me an idiot, sadly typical of the right as we so often see even here on this little site.

I just posted it, follow the money. You argue the things you do because the money insists that you do. It is fairly easy to trace the politicization of global warming and we can trace the arguments back to the GCC. You present the exact discussions the GCC intended you to state and you are not even aware of it. I wonder who is the tool?

A poor black child eh? But yes, I have a duty to you, to see to it that you are not forced to breath dirty air or drink dirty water.

Nice pic! Damn shame 30 years later nothing has changed, just not enough profit in Natural gas.
Thats enough energy go get the US out of debt. Dip shits.
I bet N.Korea would buy it!
No, not enough money - yet. So we wait, we wait until our free enterprise system ordains that there is enough money. We wait until our infrastructure lags the other "socialist" nations until that free enterprise system finally comes to the financial conclusion that natgas is wise and then we find ourselves two decades behind those other countries before we do anything at all because after all, Government is never right, it should never pick "winners and losers" and the free market is always right on top of things.
Conservatives are mostly short sighted fools.

So you hate the guy because he is rich? Obama is a very rich man now ever think to question that? Mitt has more but when you start talking million does it even matter to the average Joe anymore?

Barack Obama and wife have a tidy 12 million dollar estate. Not anything in comparison with Mitt but it makes one wonder how did the Obamas become millionaires?
Mr. Obama makes $ 400,000 a year as President and Mrs. Obama has not worked since 2007. How did they become millionaires?

Prior to becoming a candidate for President, he was a U.S. Senator making about $ 160,000 and she was legal counsel for a NONPROFIT hospital at about the same income as her husband. Say, they made $ 300,000 annually between them, how did they become millionaires?

Before joining the U.S. Senate, he was a State Senator at $ 65,000 a year. He also taught part-time in a law school for $ 60,000 – 80,000.

Now I am not ripping on Obama for this I know its the name of the game, this is why almost every senator is a millionaire. Just ease back on the bama koolaid.
Mean Mitt is hated for being a dick. Only a dick sits down with a bunch of unemployed workers and say I know what's it's like to not have a job when the difference between what that actually means to him and his family is so drastic. How does questioning the Obama's finances change any of that?

For example, she has said that when Mitt was in college, the two of them were so financially strapped that they had to liquidate some of their stock portfolio to get by. At the time Mrs. Romney said that she was engaged in a “struggle” to bring up her children, the family was living in a seven bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom mock-Colonial mansion in Belmont, Massachusetts, while spending summers at their five-thousand-square-foot vacation home, which sits on eleven lakefront acres in New Hampshire
