is it possible to start off germed seeds indoors like on a windowsill until they get big enough to go outside, then transplant them to a small area for a SOG-esque setup?

dont quote me on this because ive never done germination before but im pretty sure that if you are trying to germinate it needs to be in a warm, dark, moist place.

and i have a dark warm moist place to do it. im not worried about the germing. i just wanna know if i can do this transplant.
