HTG Supply gets big PROPS

I bought a 400w light with HPS and MH conversion bulb back in the third week of May. I used it since then and yesterday the conversion bulb blew. I emailed them and wow to my surprise they sending me a new one free of charge and a return for the old one to inspect it. Im their biggest fan now. Everyone should consider using their products!

year warranty is standard on htg. WOW!!! I got a 600w digi hps/mh and a cooltube from there, its being delivered cross country in less than a week! (i hope). Nice that they throw in hangers and a cheap digital timer. Also got a big roll of mylar from them, they have almost everything!!! if they sold seeds it would be perfect, but that would add a 'seedy' element to their site, it would be harder to order their stuff in america, and they would probably get CRACKED down on quick selling everything you need to grow. I'll just stick with these orchids until the DEA is deaD. pft.

I think ballasts come with a two year warranty

yes ballasts come with a 2 year warrranty, i just bought a 250watt setup from them (HPS and MH) for just short of 200$, hoping to arrive within the next few days. and yes the mylar is very cheap there too, i got myself i nice 50ft. roll : D

400 watt hps from htg, bulb blew after less that 10 days of use. just sent e-mail to see if can get a replacement......

they will give you a replacement...

We hope HTG is 50/50 good/bad guys...

Isnt that the truth.

My bulb burnt out for no reason (i never touched my bulb) and it was 5 weeks old. They replaced it no problem, cooler than shit on the phone.

They gave me a little walk through on cloning as well. Very very friendly down to earth helpful people. I appreciate their service greatly- and will continue to order from them, and rep them to anyone i know.

Im not a fan. The bulb shouldnat have blow with such low life usage which they are known to sell inferior bulbs with over stated lumnes output.Anyways all bulbs will carry a 1 year warranty against defect so if someplace wont replace a bulb a few months old you would be getting screwed.I always found poor service inferior products and bad communication skills from HTG and avoid them lot of bad things come out of that shop incomplete ballasts.missing parts,faulty ballasts with shorts.I d buy elsewhere..oh and htg is not the cheapest around in the US far from it.. www.marylandhydroponics.com much cheaper and so is www.hydro4less.com

I bought their complete soil kit with the tent when for almost 600 and it was the worst investment of my life....by the end of my first grow, the only thing I was still using from that kit was the conversion ballast a 1 grow bag......

It was crappy instructions and they obviously don't have an understanding of their clients as anyone who is buying a complete kit like that is obviously a newbie yet they made that shit as difficult as possible to use.

I'll be damned if they see another dime from me...

got an e-mail reply after a few hours. says they will send out the replacement bulb. however with the long weekend ahead, if it's not here by thurs, it wont be here till monday. keeping my fingers crossed, made the mistake of not having a ready replacement bulb on hand.

You can get a 400 watt hps bulb at menards or home depot for like 22 dollars. Not Ideal growing bulbs but will be fine. Great for a pinch when your good bulb breaks and waiting for another one

I would get ballasts and setups from htgsupply, then get the replacement bulbs (assuming you've already used up your warrenty) from 1000bulbs.com
