But i really get more of a couch lock with the buds harvested with amber? I mean u can really tell the diffrence! Its unquestionable! The more amber in the bud the more couch lock! Its very noticeable....
So.. Yes the more amber the more of a couch lock!
Is there any real growers in this blog?

Cbd is not cbn..
Its like letting a green apple turn to mush just to get rid of the sour edge..its good how it was intended at cloudy..if you don't like the high, grow different bud with a higher CBD content. That's the couch locker..yes cbn has a different buzz than thc but its not the same thing and it kills potency..cbn won't feel like cbd rich bud..so no amber heads don't cause couch lock

Oh look more info about why amber trichomes aren't a good thing.

http://adai.uw.edu/marijuana/factsheets/cannabinoids.htm

The major differences between the cannabinoids are determined by the extent to which they are psychologically active. Three classes of cannabinoids, the CBG, CBC and CBD are not known to have such an effect. THC, CBN, CBDL and some other cannabinoids on the other hand are known to be psychologically active to varying degrees.

CBD is probably the most abundant cannabinoid, contributing up to 40% of cannabis resin. Interestingly, CBD may actually have anti-anxiety effects and lessen the psychoactive effects of THC. This means that a plant with a greater percentage of CBD may reduce the intensity of the effects of the THC, which in effect lowers the potency of the plant. Use of a cannabis plant with less CBD has been shown to have an increased psychological impact and result in unwanted effects such as anxiety.

When THC is exposed to air it oxidizes and forms CBN. CBN is only very weakly psychoactive and not unlike CBD interacts with THC to reduce its effects. This is why cannabis that has been left out unused will have increasing amounts of CBN and decreasing amounts of THC and thus lose potency.
THAT is why you do not leave your dried cured bud out in the open, the trichomes are degraded by light thus turning amber THUS reducing it's potency.. Jesus, why is that so hard to comprehend? You want couchlock? Grow indica.

Thanks for coming around hellmutt...I am a real grower guy, and I don't give advice when i'm not sure i'm right or I state that i'm not sure i'm right....I am positive of the things I've stated in this thread..you may notice a different high from degraded amber buds that gives the Indica feel but I promise you would have gotten a longer stronger high from the same bud at peak maturity..you also will get a more couch lock stone out of an Indica that had no amber at all than an amber sativa! Or even an Indica harvested at peak compared to an Indica allowed to amber..amber equals broken down and changed compounds within the resin glands..not good

But i havent! Because from my experience/expertice as a real grower. One who actually documents real life data vs something i copyed from some grow jurnal/blog that my conclusion and all of my other grow friends that grow for medicinal purpose and have documented facts that...drum roll....
YES! THE MORE AMBER IN UR GROW THE MORE OF A COUCH LOCK! Now all that copy and paste could not tell me otherwise!
Because of actual manipulation of the plants and experimentation and a shit load of mistakes that i will state that there has alot to do with the particular strain but more amber equals more couch lock..

Amber smamber..more resin = more potency Period.Anyone want to argue that point?
If you want to make more resin you put the plant under conditions that it would produce more resin in order to protect itself from cold or lack of humidity.Stress can also make a plant give up some more resin. But will also slow finish time down.
We can light stress it,cold stress it,drought stress it,Use humidity to stress it. we can pinch it brake it bend it,Tie weights to it if you want to,These things will increase potency way more than looking for a color of tric on the plant. The plant will tell you when its done.
This is just one of those arguments that will go on for century's.
When a plant is done its leaves should turn fall colors the buds calyx up. leaves turned down,Buds turn colors.

Ok i'm done.. know what the more of you that believe attaining couch lock through amber trichs is the proper way to get the effect, the more of you I grow better than..less competition when its legal in every state....again...I AM NOT SAYING YOU DON'T GET THE EFFECT FROM AMBER TRICHS!!! I'm saying that means the plant is over ripe and you are losing thc, also that you can attain a much greater couch lock effect from a Indica harvested completely cloudy..so why on earth grow something with a thc profile your not aiming for and then try to manipulate it into being what you want, instead odd just growing the proper strain for the high you like?!? I feel like i'm speaking to children here, once more incase it doesn't seep in, your experiences with amber buds having a narcotic effect are not being disputed, i'm simply telling you your doing it wrong...

Well if u look at a sativa dominant strain its hard almost impossible to get amber trics and it a speedy, head high. When u grow indica its easy to get ambering and its a real couch lock..so yes i do agree with all of the posts but just also goes to show that amber is a sighn of deeper couch lock.

Sativa's amber just like Indica, they just take longer to flower.

Trousers you have a better way to convey emotion or stress what you are saying in text?! That comment was frivolous and contributes nothing...this thread needs to die, unsubscribed

Claiming that something is true by using caps hurts your credibility.
If you have something, anything logical to support your hypothesis then bring it to the table. Otherwise I will continue to believe that your delicate ego is unable to handle information that counters your dubious opinions.

Your stories are unconvincing.
Using caps denotes that you are emotional about your opinion which makes me think that it is less credible.

I do not have a problem with your beliefs, but if you want to push your opinion you should have something better than a story to back you up.
I can not find anything to back up your dubious opinion.

So why should I believe you, because you used caps?

Yes what was that saying...foul language is the feeble minds futile attempt at expressing itself forcefully
I liken caps to something like that
