How to get more couchlock

Correct most traits are strain oriented but you can manipulate the outcome by when you harvest. If you would just think about de-carbing, this is what causes cloudy to amber thrichs, they are not formed that color they transform to the amber. Amber being the last stage before death. Without de-carbing you would not get high, or the feeling of being high....its that's simple, don't over think it...JAS
Source?....

more couch lock. just wait until all those triclod to turn amber . degraded thc but enhanced tcb . it will have you glued to the couch. hopefully my spelling and shit is ok im stoned as fuc
lol, you must be high. What is TCB? I google it and it brought up nothing related to cannabis. Also, THC converts to CBN.

The % of THC in according with CBD, CBC, THCV are what effect the high, when you let the THC(Delta-9) degrade you are losing the main component of a cannabis high. How is that beneficial? CBN is a weak agonist of the CB1 receptors. Basically, it won't get you high. Stop saying "amber for more couchlock" It's unbelievably inaccurate.

Source for what? Common sense? These thrichs don't start cloudy or amber...right...so something happens to them when they age...on the plant. The degradation you and quiza speak of IS the start of de-carbing, some of us just know the process and states facts accordingly. Go ahead and think what you want and keep smoking immature bud because the amber thrichs are the indicator of ripeness. No science required just common sense....JAS

So basically you can't back up what you're saying an no one should listen to you. Thanks for the heads up.

Also, without science where would we be? Science is the reason why know what we do about cannabis, not you and your wacky ass "common sense" based ideas. I've been trying to argue with logic and evidence for some time now in the newbie section, it's pretty clear that people such as your self are too stubborn to believe anything else so I'm not wasting my time with you. All I can hope is you don't convince anyone to believe your unproven ignorance based bs. IF you were really trying to help newbies you would stop spreading the old misinformed tales of "amber more couchlock" and start siding with proven factual evidence that can EASILY be found all over the internet.

Read the link in my previous post, I used to think that as well. Just like flushing does something. tons and tons of misinformation around the cannabis community.
Flushing,a lot of commercial grows flush ie greenhouse for one.
but it's up to you I flush but that's my preference.

WOW...i just heard a couple of people claim a indica is more potent than a sativa?Or was that more of a couch lock than a sativa?
I cant stand a pure indica stone. It is no where near as intense as a sativa high..not even in the same ball park as a sativa.
Ill take the active up high of the sativa and the intense buzz of it every time over a indica.
Between sativa/haze preferably, and red bulls i rock all day long and never get tired or sleepy.

Not going to keep arguing your simply wrong dude..bottom line..cloudy trichs are perfectly ripe and done amber is the same thing as if you left a tomato on a vine too long, it will start to turn black but that doesn't mean black is better than red...its called over ripe and amber trichs do not produce a better high you have been misinformed, accept it instead of refusing to and spreading misinformation

Yes, you should make an effort.
The lab you directed me to does not test for flushing.
You should make an effort to be smarter.

The guys have publications and he still wants "proof" OMG is anyone else getting this!
There are published authors that think organic soil should be flushed. Being published does not make one correct.
If someone make a claim, it is not unreasonable to ask for something to back it up.

and you obviously didn't read the thread, lol.

You don't even understand common sense? Thrichomes start clear and move to amber as they mature, caused by oxidation od in other words decarburization. Sadly you can't understand common sense how can you understand science. Believe what you want maturity is more a personal thing then anything else.

Did I say amber is ripe? No I said its a stage of maturity...that's it. I'm not the one mis-informed, ripeness is closely related to effects.

Being published does not make one correct.
So now even the guys that know what they are doing are wrong? If that is the case then any study or paperwork will always be rejected. You guys grow one little plant and you think you know it all's. If you could grow half as well as Mel or Frank, we would not be having this discussion....JAS

This is almost as amusing as the bmeat debacle... Almost
You don't seem to understand even common sense, keep growing, book knowledge seems to be plentiful but experience in growing is lacking. You will get there soon just keep an open mind and stop getting your info from sites like these....JAS

Sooo,.. the only people who know something are the ones that can grow lots of plants? And you think I'm an idiot? lol wow,.. some people

Well every grow book always ask for you to get some ambering in ur grow. And i have done both mostly by accident. But i guess u could argue for ever because there isnt scientific evidence.

Lol ummmm did III say amber is ripe no..I said cloudy is ripe

ripe /rīp/

adjective (of fruit or grain) developed to the point of readiness for harvesting and eating.

So your right amber is not ripe it is a point of maturity..called over ripe

Even if amber does slightly cause a couch lock effect we are trying to explain to you that that is not beneficial because your herb will always be better harvested cloudy..the added effect you may or may not get does not make up for the loss you don't realize you had! Btw even harvested cloudy you will see through the cure some trichs amber after harvest so cutting late for amber will wind up causing way too much amber a month later
