Might sound dumb but it gets all the nuts in soil 100% out and also flush all beneficial bacteria that constitute your living soil. Just because you havent heard ir try dosent meean inlts dumb. The reason you don use clorinated water its because it kills beneficial bacteria and mycos in your living soil. Doing it at the end of flowering before harversting does inlylo this. I've been growing since 1995. Can't tell me there is something wrong wuth these plants that are 80 days old from seeds niw can you.
wtf are you even talking about? Everyone I know uses tap water and I’m 99% sure it has chlorine in it no matter how long you leave it sit out. When you water your garden or shrubs do you declorinate The water first?

griwing a plant in your parents basement in 95doesn’t make you a master grower FYI.

And chlorine is super helpful in the hydroponics world

So now you think your a master grower cause you troll on here. Put your money were your mouth is. 99% of your friends use tap water. Cause you hardly every grown weed. I've sold over 1000 pouds of weed in my life and have been into grow up that held over 600 1000hps. And dunking your substrate into a tube to get it 100% saturated before rinsing water content has been done millions of time just becaus you have triedbit or done it. Dosent mean it dosen't create that deficience for your plant to eat itself fir nutrient depletion in the final week of flowering... Its has pouven well worthy to facilitated nutrient depletion. Just know what the fu k you put in your soil and what it does.. Buddy goes and ask a question. I provide an honest answer to how he can get it done. And you go bullshiting this informatiin without giving a proper answer or option. Yiu are of no used to the comunity

Flushing is when you use 3x or more water then usual to flush pot out and should only done in emergency situations in my opinion. Fading is when you give plain water with no nutrients at same amount of water as when you were feeding nutrients, usually done for 2 weeks or so at end of plants life.

Not to side track but is that a Argentino dogo? I want one next after my Cane Corso so my Doberman can train him.
Well sry, but I've seen on other forums that there's two ways to flush a plant. One being the way you said, and two being giving them just water over an extended period of time with runoff.

Watering your plants is flushing?

Smfh
Like I said, I've heard that there's two ways to flush. One is giving them a huge amount of water with a lot of runoff, and the other is giving them only water with still some runoff but over a long period of time.

You’re a moron
LMAO yep, I'm a moron. Taken from a scientific study, and I quote "Researchers have found that chlorinated drinking water may kill a number of microorganisms in soil or a compost pile".

Can peeps quit it with the chlorine kills, at tap water level.it has little effect on established populations (why i have to clean toilets sinks and showers as water isnt sterelizing that bacteria or fungi that exists there or why i use alcohol not tap water on an open wound to sterelize).

If you smell chlorine id assume a couple ppms can produce a smell possibly making you think there is a lot more, human brain pretty adept to identifying poisonous gasses and farts.

So a bit more looking into it before assuming tap water is sometjimg its not - you might be suprised that with enough magnification theres quite a lot living in it when it comes out your tap and is by no means a sterile product.

Also the stuff in soil has been fighting a trillion year war that mainly it will laylugh at a few.measly ppm of chlorine and such.

:-)

Then come taste my tap water. Can guarantee you'll think you were drinking out of a pool. It's literally enough to dehydrate you and give you an instant migraine. We have to use a Brita filter because it's so strong.

Flushing was dreamt up by great growers who dared to question everything - it has zero validity and dosent exist outside of this hobby except in an attempt to remove still mobile soluable nutrients from a soil in cases of toxcification or whatever caused the emergency.

Futher to this the dream of the flush was more akin to removing soluable nitrate nitrogen from the soil in an effort to induce a very late nitrogen defficienctly and hence the degredation of chlorophyll and yellow leafed plant. Originally the dream was that nitrogen caused harsh bud and deficiency a smoother product.

The dream was not for new growers but pros who could finish totally green with zero leaf loss and stress, a fine tuning to a perfect grow.

Bk is a troll but all the info is on this thread you just need to chill :-)

I should double point out that i just know this stuff i dont do it or advise it and you should all learn to finish green and healthy with all the nutrition the plant needs rught till harvest day.

Anything past this require you have learnt these basics or you just aint got membership to the inner circle :-)

Nah, fuck that kid tbh. If he wants to troll, I'll troll right back. All the info I need is to just see the way he fucks around like some 10 year old cracked out on mt dew. Sry, but even my 10 year old acts more mature then that dude does. Anyway, one of the main reasons I plan to flush my plants, is because I've had bud that tasted like chemicals before and it wasn't nice. Though, they probably used way too many, I don't wanna take a chance of that happening. I want the plant to taste as natural as I can possibly get it right before harvest. If I'm honest though, I don't want "membership to the inner circle" if all it is is poking fun at new growers for asking questions, no matter how "stupid" they are. We're here to help people, not shun them and make fun of them and deter them from even asking shit. Then they're gonna make some rookie mistake and it's gonna cost their whole crop because this community had to poke fun. I could see if it was a known member asking a "dumb" question and poking fun at them, but not newbs.

I went swimming yesterday, chlorine stinging my eyes to fuck in local pool, swallowex a lot - aint no headache or health problems yet.

Either you live in a weird place that dosent yet know basic science or world legal chlorine dilosage leveks or youelr overexgerating stuff idk which :-)

You over fertilized most likely other stuff was off, that makes harsh bud, most errors do.

The flush isnt what you need and dosent solve a period of bad growth.

As a newer member ignore the idiots and connect with the rest of the community or you be no better and a sucker for boveda leds and what not :-)

No no, it wasn't me. LOL. It was some shit I bought. I'm not saying flushing solves a bad grow, but I imagine it will take a lot of that chemical taste out that I'm so paranoid about now. I'll finish this grow with a flush and finish next grow without a flush and see which one I prefer. Only way to really do it I suppose. I guess you're right though on the troll shit. I just can't stand it when people poke fun at someone legit asking a question no matter how "dumb" it is. I get it... asking what strain a cannabis plant is is pretty LOL. Hell, even I posted asking if anyone knew the strain of mine. That's only because *and this is from my experiences so far* some growers have been growing a REALLY long time and can identify a lot of strains just by the way the leaves and bud look. Doesn't mean it's a stupid question... just a rookie question at best. Cheers dude.

No, Rollitup challenges you to complete all grows without flushing. If bud taste off you did something wrong so try again.

Thats the answer you need :-)

I feed till the last day no taper fade flush or anything - best tasting bud is full of nutrients, its what makes the oils and trichs and stuff :-)

I disagree. the chloramine is something to avoid using on plants. Have you done your research on what it does when it breaks down? It can effect the top layer of the soil and destroy the microbes and furthermore break down into toxic compounds.
I thought you weren’t into bro science king bro
Maybe do research before telling people what has worked in your experience, your nose isn’t going to be able to tell what went into a plant no doubt, but science doesn’t lie and what you are saying here is mis information

chloramine absolutely effects the soil and microbiology of your plant and if it can be avoided do so but you can get away with using it.

Exactly why I won't use my tap water on my plants. It's literally so bad, it's like drinking from a pool and it severely dehydrates me leaving me with an almost instant migraine. So why would I wanna give it to my plants?

Over exaggerated? lol. Come drink a bottle of our tap water and let me know how you feel about 10-20 minutes later. Guarantee you're gonna feel like shit and be dehydrated to the point of migraine. Nobody in my town drinks the tap water. It's over chlorinated so we all just use Brita filters. The town where I live has had problems over the years with too much chlorine in the water, so idk. I'm still not giving it to my plants.
