How Physically Fit are you?

How physically fit are you, Strength and conditioning is what im looking for.

Me, i am a starting cornerback for a very prestigious junior canadian football team, so i would say that im in great shape, i can run a 40 in like 4.6, I've been known to lay some HUGE hits on recievers and im not very big 5'11 150lbs, Hopefully one day i play for the BC lions :mrgreen:

how about you guys?

I'm 6'1" and only weigh 190 now. I used to be big into the lifting and training for football, but then kind of got lazy and tired of it. I love football, but I'd love it a lot more if it weren't so damn competitive.

I like watching my body change with the amount of effort(or lack there of) I put into it.

I jog, I lift weights casually. I don't eat unhealthy or fattening foods. I have a very high protein diet. I have a lot of endurance and perseverance. I watch a lot of fighting and I have trained.

Im 6'3 250lbs
little overweight but not to bad.... work hard and play harder!
my son is going to university through scholorship to play football for a university in canada offensive line man 6'4" tall 310lbs just played in the under 19 canada cup in sherbrook quebec.just turned 18 end of feb.
ive seen him lay some serious smackdown on opposing teams!

and i thought i was skinny:twisted:started weight lifting half a year ago..5'11..165lbs..favourite and most hated exercise=squat.. i do 6 sets of 10 reps with 150lbs..the weight is not much but still hurts big time..in a year i wanna squat 200lbs:twisted:

That's not a lot of weight, but that many reps in that many sets would have almost anyone's legs burnin'. I usually stick to higher weights and lower reps. I think in highschool I was maxing 340 on the squat rack. I've always had a stronger lower body than my upper, though.bongsmilie

Pretty sure your legs benefit most from high rep moderate, to low weight.
I meant to say high weight, low rep. And you could say that your legs benefit more from that, but it depends on the result you're looking for. As I stated before, most of the training I've done was related to football, where you look for brute strength and coordination.

not me, light weights quick reps, and i focus on conditioning, speed and cardio instead of strength building, depends on your position :)

I feel ya man. I've never had the build to be a db, but it's always looked like fun. I have the DE, TE mentality!:mrgreen:

I play rep lacrosse, jog everyday, and am on a 3 day split at the gym. Currently benching 235 and squatting 200. My upper body is much stronger than my lower body. I just finished a bulking stage so im kinda heavy right now but am going into my cutting stage now so ill drop that back down. Right now im 6'1 195.

I'm with you on that. After about 45 minutes I have to call a huddle for me and the man downstairs. I'm like, "Look bro, I'm workin' it and doin' my thing. You need to do yours now, because if I have to keep going for much longer I'm going to die an early death." It's a good workout, though!:mrgreen::hump::hump:

Im not trying to burst your bubble or anything but thats just too dam small to play at any school in the U.S

Im 6'1 210 lift everyother day for football and run and im the smallest one besides fs and ss

6'1'' 160lbs. i can run 3 miles like nothing and have ran 10 before. i run three miles and weight lift on alternating days, every day. i can ski pretty well and was not much into sports until i started high-school.
