You need to explain cause you should be getting more with 9000 w then

the other guy with 6000w get it now lol if you were hiting 1 gpw with 9000w you would have19.841 ?

I think somethings wrong

I have to many strains at 3k setup I did cotton candy, purple wreck, superlemonhaze, sour diesel, og13, blueberry gum. Next run I'm going to do 5 purple wreck 5 superlemonhaze.. I got 9z off super lemon and 10.5 out purple wreck using this method. They were all in 5 gallons with a drip system I took out the drip cuz it wasn't Givin water evenly some got more some got less so I'm hand watering

Recent first full 3x3 run with the Philips 315w CMH Elite Agro 315w bulb and pulled just shy of 1gpw. I fucked up too and backed off too low on feeding one strain (PPP, trashing it too troublesome), could have easily surpassed the 1gpw. I'm thinking it can pull 1.25 once I get it tuned in. GPW is a relative guide, light efficiency, grow style and strain plays huge roles. Of course, assuming all other environmental factors are looked after. 4 plants in a 3x3, 315w bulb, 10.89 zips total, could have been 13-14 zips if I handn't backed off feeding the one strain which was 3 of the 4 plants.

Look fire Bro good yeild
Cheers and thanks, the Jack The Ripper (3rd/right pic) is absolute fire, great taste/smell, not an huge yielder unless you do a lot of training, that one was FIM'd 3 times and super-cropped. The PPP strain is a decent yielder too and gets you blasted but it's a troublesome strain to grow. It's pretty well done in the garden other than I crossed it with some Blueberry pollen to see if it would improve the taste and make it an easier grow, have a couple of those seeds in veg now ;)

Probably SCROG is the way to go. Unless you wanna get crazy like me and shove 144 plants into a 3 foot by 3 foot square under a single 600 (which is what Ill be doing next)

Edit: Might go with 4 inch spacing instead of 3 which will drop me to 81 plants and save a bunch of money on seeds. Not 100% sure yet.
That's a lot of overhead. assuming $3/seed, that's $432 on seeds alone. Not much space so I assume the yield will be around a HP. Just my guess. But how can you justify that overhead when you can grow 10 plants and scrog them and end up with the same??

I hope you take this with a grain of salt, I'm not insulting your methods. I'm just curious

No worries...my ideas are just that...ideas. I have no proof but I'm hopeful that yields would be much more than that. With the right strain I'm thinking more like 2 pounds....maybe more. My current experiment is not yet over but I'm willing to bet I will end up having numerous strains that yield north of 10 grams and have the desired growing tendency...straight up with no branching.
Seeds are cost prohibitive so this would have to involve the creation of mass amounts of fem'd seeds which is something I don't have a plan for. When I do get this up and running I'll be sure to journal it.

Then compare the time involved...90 days start to finish. Grams per watt per year is one the critical measurements.

thanks for the reply! I've never done a sog, that's why i was curious. I hope you yield the two pounds like you plan! plus another perk would be you can grow a lot of different strains!

or if Your kid wants a new 4 wheeler lol you go for a big one

Op.... You need more plants if you plan on pulling 2 ps per light. A 10 gallon container is a great pot to use... If you putting 4 under each light. If you want to grow trees than do just that... Get 20 gal trash cans and grow trees.. But you can't expect to pull elite numbers without an elite plan. Switching your genetics all the time is foolish for starters.. You need to master one specific genetic.. A good rule of thumb is.. If you expect to yield great , each light should be up taking 10 gallons of water per 2-3 days. If that light isn't drinking 10 gallons of water mid flower, you can fit more plants under it, and you ain't getting 2 per light.
