How much should I be pulling per watt

Op.... You need more plants if you plan on pulling 2 ps per light. A 10 gallon container is a great pot to use... If you putting 4 under each light. If you want to grow trees than do just that... Get 20 gal trash cans and grow trees.. But you can't expect to pull elite numbers without an elite plan. Switching your genetics all the time is foolish for starters.. You need to master one specific genetic.. A good rule of thumb is.. If you expect to yield great , each light should be up taking 10 gallons of water per 2-3 days. If that light isn't drinking 10 gallons of water mid flower, you can fit more plants under it, and you ain't getting 2 per light.
I was thinking about going 12 plants four under each light and 7 gallon airpots in Coco what do u think. And do you let ur coco dry a little or water even if the pots heavy till runoff

Looks great, wish I had some rolled up.
I have a nug left from each strain I grew In different jars. The nugs keep getting smaller lol it was definitely tasty the superlemonhaze had a lemon pine to it and the purple wreck was exactly like eating a bowl of fruity pebbles lol

The air pots with All the tiny holes are pretty awesome but the coco dries out faster then the rest resulting me watering it everyday which I don't mind but does this benefit yeild?

What kind of air pots? I would just use regular pots with holes in the bottom... Or smart pots if you don't plan on moving your plants around. 4 a light in 7 gallons is a good setup. Watering everyday can benefit but also is a pain in the ass. I prefer to water every 48hours. Make sure the pot is not heavy when you water .

what kind of veg time are we talking here, with all these huge numbers? has any one hit the 2+ number from og? my best is slightly over 1.5 per lamp. however vegging over 4 weeks doesn't make me happy.

I am doing 9k of all og the next round. Goal is 20. I'll let you know. I veg as long as it takes to make my room a jungle. Longer than 3 weeks . I don't use walk ways , sometimes it takes me 3 hours of crawling around on the ground to water. People say I over work myself, but this is the only way I am capable of pulling the numbers I am happy with. I have friends that pull 4+ from 4x8 trays with shit nutrients, I have no idea how they do it. They are badass'

Niether do they >.>
Ive met many growers who jus throw shit together and produce weight and quality. But wen asked how, they jus bought some shit and followed some directions. They have no idea what they feeding their plants. And don care so long as it works.

OP, jus throwin this out there but yu can get alot more efficent in yur grow if yu switch to vert.

Im in the mid of my first vert scrog. once everything is dialed in, im expectin 5-6lbs per 1200w...
Sigh the numbers are much better on paper thou hahahaha

Dude, 1.5 a light from one of the original OG cuts is very respectable, IMO.
I hit higher numbers with og crosses like wifi, holy grail, deadhead og.
I'm always searching(from seed) for that higher yielding OG. It hasn't been easy:-D

As I've said in another thread recently, I can more easily hit higher numbers with the OG's(and most other type of strains) when I grow more of a sog and more hydroponically.
I choose not to grow that way exclusively because of plant counts though. Funny thing is, I didn't give a shit about plant counts before prop215. In fact not till about 2005ish.
It's mainly trees for me, and most of my friends these days......more veg/training, with usually a little less yields. It ends up worth it to sleep a little better these days though, IMO:-)

No problem at all more learning for me haha
If i'm rocking 4 per 1k light,
Its gonna be in a coco/perlite mix(70/30). In a regular 7gal(nursery) pot. I messed around with smartpots and coco. Didn't add any yield, but I had to water more often. I said fuck that.
Now, Smartpots with a peat based dirt like promix? That IS where the smartpots shine. From my experience.

Strain and everything else dependent , that's how much weight your gonna get:wink:

SCROG is for patient people, which I'm not...........if plant #s don't come with a sentence in your area, then SOG imo.

It really does matter what strain. My wifi, I'll do 4, and pull 1-3/4. Deadhead and the holy grail, and my whirefirealien, i'll do 5 a light(10 per 4X8 tray), and pull about the same. But
Haven't been able to pull 1-3/4 from them strains when only doing 4.
Basically what I'm saying is: certain strains work better when growing trees. And you gotta learn and train your plants to fill the canopy.

Unfortunately, where i'm at, I have to grow the fire. But, i usually yield between 1.5~2 a light. 2 is what I strive for, even with the fire. But I usually end up a little disappointed. Lol

And yet, I'll try some new cuts here and there, from a club, and only pull 1-1/4. I usually cry when that happens

If I could grow the strains today, that I used to get away with back in the day, I would be pulling 2.5+ Everytime.
