I was thinking about going 12 plants four under each light and 7 gallon airpots in Coco what do u think. And do you let ur coco dry a little or water even if the pots heavy till runoffOp.... You need more plants if you plan on pulling 2 ps per light. A 10 gallon container is a great pot to use... If you putting 4 under each light. If you want to grow trees than do just that... Get 20 gal trash cans and grow trees.. But you can't expect to pull elite numbers without an elite plan. Switching your genetics all the time is foolish for starters.. You need to master one specific genetic.. A good rule of thumb is.. If you expect to yield great , each light should be up taking 10 gallons of water per 2-3 days. If that light isn't drinking 10 gallons of water mid flower, you can fit more plants under it, and you ain't getting 2 per light.
I have a nug left from each strain I grew In different jars. The nugs keep getting smaller lol it was definitely tasty the superlemonhaze had a lemon pine to it and the purple wreck was exactly like eating a bowl of fruity pebbles lolLooks great, wish I had some rolled up.
What kind of air pots? I would just use regular pots with holes in the bottom... Or smart pots if you don't plan on moving your plants around. 4 a light in 7 gallons is a good setup. Watering everyday can benefit but also is a pain in the ass. I prefer to water every 48hours. Make sure the pot is not heavy when you water .I was thinking about going 12 plants four under each light and 7 gallon airpots in Coco what do u think. I am doing 9k of all og the next round. Goal is 20. I'll let you know. I veg as long as it takes to make my room a jungle. Longer than 3 weeks . I don't use walk ways , sometimes it takes me 3 hours of crawling around on the ground to water. People say I over work myself, but this is the only way I am capable of pulling the numbers I am happy with. I have friends that pull 4+ from 4x8 trays with shit nutrients, I have no idea how they do it. They are badass'what kind of veg time are we talking here, with all these huge numbers? has any one hit the 2+ number from og? my best is slightly over 1.5 per lamp. however vegging over 4 weeks doesn't make me happy.
I would assume those pots would only work well if you place them inside another pot? You can't have your roots exposed to light. I am not too familiar with these types of pots can anyone else help out?http://www.amazon.com/Superoots-Air-Pot-5-Gallon-Equivalent/dp/B00DEQBCEU
I like these alot I have two 10g from them. Would u add perlite in coco with these pots?

No problem at all more learning for me hahaWhat og cut? Not trying to jack thread, sorry op. There's good talk going on in this thread is why I chimed in.

Dude, 1.5 a light from one of the original OG cuts is very respectable, IMO.what kind of veg time are we talking here, with all these huge numbers? has any one hit the 2+ number from og? my best is slightly over 1.5 per lamp. however vegging over 4 weeks doesn't make me happy.
If i'm rocking 4 per 1k light,
No problem at all more learning for me haha
if you dont mind me asking how much u pull doing thatIf i'm rocking 4 per 1k light,
Its gonna be in a coco/perlite mix(70/30). In a regular 7gal(nursery) pot. I messed around with smartpots and coco. Didn't add any yield, but I had to water more often. I said fuck that.
Now, Smartpots with a peat based dirt like promix? That IS where the smartpots shine. From my experience.
It really does matter what strain. My wifi, I'll do 4, and pull 1-3/4. Deadhead and the holy grail, and my whirefirealien, i'll do 5 a light(10 per 4X8 tray), and pull about the same. Butif you dont mind me asking how much u pull doing that
