If your grow set up cost is $450 yea you need credit so you can do better. Don't bash DIY'ers they can set there grow on kill at any time, you got it confused man, by the way you suck and no one likes you!

Don't need credit. Don't want your validation. Don't care about you. Just another loser on the forums.
Right, so your exhaust is vaporware, you just running a DIY duct out the window with a bathroom fan in this HotRod tent, lol....as long as it works, who cares

Sorry if we are knocking you down a bit, but the art is in the grow, the equipment is just bling. Good growers with dixie cups and duct tape can do better than most of us.

Pics pulled from Google. I've seen them out there.
Wrong. That's my DIY light setup in my 5x5 tent with 4 plants. How many pics do you want?

I guess I have spent $700 so far, a cloning tray and my nutrients was about $100. Mind you this is Canadian so about $75 US. Then some Bridgelux strips for $100, assorted other lights, $50. Electronics for them will end up about $50 but I an electronic background and am able to re-purpose other equipment. Another $100 for soil, pots, media. The stupid seeds were $200, I went legitimate and bought off a licensed source, $75 for three seeds that did not sprout, online seeds, sprouted and grew fine. Some ducting and materials for my grow closet, $60.

Another couple hundred by the time I am done I would think. Electrical costs are not too bad, we have among the lowest rates in North America. I also had my latest bunch outside in the sun. Will try to grow some trees outside next year.

All the broke 'diy' guys who act like it's cool to have a half ass setup held up by duct tape can do that.
Welcome to RIU. If you hang out in the LED section or the DIY sections I think you may get a shock at the demographic of DIY growers. Majority DIY because its a hobby- sure they save hundreds per light and are generally at the top of the tech tree but I think you will find that to afford the DIY and latest tech they work and earn decent $. Some are real clever fucks

Considering all my equipment is paid for from one harvest, after that total cost runs $100 per pound to produce.

$20 coir
$20 nutrients
$50 for power to run lights and environmental controls.
330 watts of LED's for flower, 21 day veg under 260 watt Led's
