How do you guys set up your coco.

Ive been using Promix HP and so far I'm pretty happy with it, but I really don't want to just get stuck in one way I want to try different things and then settle on a forever medium. So I got some Canna coir bricks and my question to you all is. How do you guys set up your coco?
I'm not doing a hydroponic system just top feeding a gallon at a time. I'm using 5 gallon fabric pots on top of those AC Infinity wicking trays.
Now that you know my general setup how would you all go about using coco?
I was really hoping for something pretty simple like just coco in a pot.
Should I be making a soil type mixture instead? Something with compost and aeration? There are just so many options and things I could try Id like to have some other peoples inputs on how they do it.

I soak the Canna brick in a bucket of ro water. Break up and stir occasionally to speed up the process a bit. Once it's fully expanded, I drain it. I them rinse with a couple gallons of weak nutrient solution to buffer it. I just pour enough over it each time to saturate it and get it to runoff. Let it sit for a few and then rinse again. After a couple times, I will check the runoff to make sure it is at or below the ppm of my solution. Once it's ready, I let it sit for a few hours or over night to drain some more. Then I put it in pots. I don't use perlite. I use the floracaps and a drip dtw system.

Are you just using the aci trays to catch your runoff? Or are you actually going to use them as a wicking bottom feeder? I would advise against bottom feeding coco.

I've been growing in coco for decades and wouldn't use anything else.
Hydrate your coco using tap water in a 5 gallon bucket.
Scoop out and squeeze the excess water out of your coco.
Place in another bucket with a calmag solution using tap water and let it sit overnight.
Scoop out and squeeze excess water out.........you're ready to plant. I like to add about 30% perlite.
Start in solo cups and start feeding a light nute solution to run off starting around day 3 from sprout........feed daily after 3-4 days.
Transplant to larger pot about 2 weeks from sprout and continue feeding to run off daily.........feed twice a day in flower.
Always feed daily and adjust your pH to around 6.0.
Never plain water.
Never, ever let the coco get dry.
Good luck.

I might try a single pot and see how it goes from how you guys are doing it a hydro system seems the way to go for coco XD feeding multiple times a day is a lot of work doing it by hand

By hand is the way of the caveman. Drip irrigation is definitely less hands on once it's setup. But if you are watering one pot by hand, 2 or 3 isn't too bad. It's just so much nicer to mix up 10 or 15 gallons at a time instead of multiple 1 gallon jugs.
