I knew friends that grew in cornfields and the weed always had a nasty cornfield taste to it. And yes in the 70's we would buy "lids", not weighed but measured by 3, 4, etc. fingers. Put weed in a sandwich baggie and hold your fingers in front of the bag horizontal. 3 1/2 to 4 fingers was a decent buy, all for the low price of $10! Joints were $.50. Thai sticks $15. The thing about Thai sticks dipped in opium is a myth. I believed it for a long time until I started reading more about it. It was some of the best weed I have ever smoked. I do miss the 70's.
